Walk-in His ways

“When Avram was 99 years old Adonai appeared to Avram and said to him, I am El Shaddai [God Almighty]. Walk in my presence and be pure-hearted.”
Genesis 17:1 CJB

Sometimes we can forget that God is Almighty and can do anything! Why? Because He is God, creator of the universe and like Avram He wants us to walk in His presence with a pure heart, His heart!

“For You rescued me from death, You kept my feet from stumbling, so that I can walk in God’s presence, in the light of life.”
Psalm 56:13 CJB

The LORD is always going to have things His way, not ours, so we will always be better off walking in His ways! How do we know His ways, by being in His word!

“How happy is everyone who fears Adonai, who lives by His ways.”
Psalm 128:1 CJB

Today, let’s not be fearful of life, but be fearful of walking through life without the LORD! Let’s do life His way!
Have a blessed day walking in His ways

Trust Adonai

“It was after Avram had lived ten years in the land of Kena`an that Sari Avram’s wife took Hagar the Egyptian, her slave-girl, and gave her to Avram her husband to be his wife.”
Genesis 16:3 CJB

Sarah heard what the LORD told her that she would have a son! She doesn’t fully trust God and takes matters into her own hands, Avram (Abraham) doesn’t object, but goes along with her instead! Do we do the same? Do we lack trust?

“Trust in Adonai with all your heart; do not rely on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him; then he will level your paths.”
Proverbs 3:5-6 CJB

Often times, the LORD makes promises and gives us direction. But instead of trusting, we try and help Him out because we don’t see how it’s going to work out! All we end up doing is making a mess!

“For we live by trust, not by what we see.”
2 Corinthians 5:7 CJB

Today, realize sometimes all we have to do is sit back trust and wait on the LORD! Don’t get caught up in trying to help the LORD out because we will just make a mess! Just trust instead!
Have a blessed day waiting on the LORD!

Walk away

“Ya`akov (Jacob) went on his way, and the angels of God met him.”
Genesis 32:2 CJB

We all have confrontations from time to time. Often times the best thing to do is just go on our way! We don’t need to fight, debate or argue with people, just go on our way. God will meet us!

“Leave me alone, you evildoers, so that I can keep my God’s mitzvot (commands).”
Psalm 119:115 CJB

Even though evildoers will always come against us, we don’t need to tangle with them. We can and should just walk away. It usually works out better!

“Shake off the dust! Arise! Be enthroned, Yerusshalayim! Loosen the chains on your neck, captive daughters of Tziyon!”
Isaiah 52:2 CJB

Today, with all the attacks coming against us from government, heath care and even neighbors, don’t let them bind you up. Just go out from them!
Have a blessed day walking with the LORD!
Shabbat Shalom!

Adonai does amazing things

“Then He brought him outside and said, Look up at the sky, and count the stars-if you can count them! Your descendants will be that many!”
Genesis 15:5 CJB

The same goes for us. We can’t even come close to counting all the amazing things the LORD does for us! What we can count on is His undying love for us and how He calls us His children!

“I will sing to Adonai, because He gives me more than I need.”
Psalm 13:6 CJB

We sometimes forget how much the LORD gives us and how much He blesses us on a daily basis! We are His children who He adores. That is amazing to me!

“Put your hope in Adonai, be strong, and let your heart take courage! Yes, put your hope in Adonai!”
Psalm 27:14 CJB

Today, may your day be richly be blessed knowing you are a child of God a descendant of Avram (Abraham)!
Blessings!
Shabbat Shalom!

Adonai provides

“I will take only what my troops have eaten and share of the spoil belonging to the men who came with me – `Aner, Eshkol and Mamre; let them have their share.”
Genesis 14:24 CJB

What a great thought here take only what you need and what belongs to you! The problem today is the world is full of greed. Enough never seems to be enough!

“I am Adonai your God, who brought you up from the land of Egypt. Open your mouth , and I will fill it.”
Psalm 81:10 CJB

The thought here is when we are open to the LORD, He will fill us up with what we need, not what we want!

“For I know what plans I have in mind for you,’ says Adonai,’plans for well-being, not for bad things; so that you can have hope and a future.”
Jeremiah 29:11 CJB

Today, realize the LORD has a perfect plan for all of us. He gives us what we need and that’s really all we should take! We all need to be careful of greed, which the enemy wants us to have!
Have a blessed day rejoicing in the things the LORD has given us!
