“”You are not to plow with an ox and a donkey together.”
Deuteronomy 22:10 CJB

God doesn’t want us to be unequally yoked or to be partnered with worldly people, He desires us to be separate from ungodliness!

“Since the Tanakh says, You are to be holy because I am holy.”
1 Peter 1:16 CJB

The world around us is filled with ordinary unsaved people, God wants us to be seperate from them holy (not ordinary).

“The people I formed for Myself, so that they would proclaim my praise.”
Isaiah 43:21 CJB

Today, realize God has made us for Himself to be separate from the worldliness, but able to proclaim His name to the unsaved!
Have a blessed day being separate from worldliness, but always ready to share His salvation!
Shabbat Shalom!

Pray

“Adonai, forgive your people Israel, whom you redeemed; do not allow innocent blood to be shed among your people Israel. And they will be forgiven this bloodshed.”
Deuteronomy 21:8 CJB

Here we see that when a crime takes a place in the city, that the inhabitants have a certain responsibility! We don’t see that today, we see that crimes basically go unpunished and the citizens often turn a blind-eye to them!

“The Torah of Adonai is perfect, restoring the inner person. The instruction of Adonai is sure, making wise the thoughtless.”
Psalm 19:7 CJB

The answer to everything is Yeshua! His Torah, His rules and His ways are always going to be best for us! We just need to take responsibility and do them!

“The fear of Adonai is clean, enduring forever. The rulings of Adonai are true, they are righteous altogether.”
Psalm 19:9 CJB

Today, let’s not ignore what is happening around us! Let’s not only take responsibility for our own actions, but let’s be actively praying for peace in our community!
Have a blessed day in Adonai!

Trust God

“He should tell them, Listen, Israel! You are about to do battle against your enemies. Don’t be fainthearted or afraid; don’t be alarmed or frightened by them; because Adonai your God is going with you to fight on your behalf against your enemies and give you victory.”
Deuteronomy 20:3-4 CJB

We can at times feel like the enemy is too big or we can feel defeated! What Adonai is saying is don’t. He saying trust Him, knowing He is going before you and is dealing with the enemy!

“Haven’t I ordered you, Be strong, be bold? So don’t be afraid or downhearted, because Adonai your God is with you wherever you go.”
Joshua 1:9 CJB

We really need to be putting all our trust and hope in Adonai, He really has us all covered!

“Some trust in chariots and some in horses, but we praise the name of Adonai our God.”
Psalm 20:7 CJB

Today, no matter how bad things may look or even are, remember God has it all covered!
Have a blessed day in Him!

Put away wickedness

“The judges are to investigate carefully. If they find that the witness is lying and has given false testimony against his brother, you are to do to him what he intended to do to his brother. In this way, you will put an end to such wickedness among you.”
Deuteronomy 19:18-19 CJB

Really sounds like we can use some of this today with political accusations, so called truth police and the news media who non stop throw-out false accusations! All could use this godly check!

“Do not murder. Do not commit adultery. Do not steal. Do not give false evidence against your neighbor.”
Deuteronomy 5:17 CJB

We really need to follow the word of God. Things would always go better when we do! The world would be much better following God’s truths, His perfect ten! Unfortunately, we can’t expect the world to follow God’s ways, but as believers we sure can!

“Just let your ‘Yes’ be a simple ‘Yes’, and your ‘No’ a simple ‘No’; anything more than this has its origin in evil.”
Matthew 5:37 CJB

Today, understand the non-—believing world has all its origins in evil, so don’t be surprised when they throw out false accusations at you! We, on the other hand, need to be truthful and upright!
Have a blessed day walking in Adonai’s truth!

Listen to Adonai

“Whoever doesn’t listen to My words, which he will speak in My name, will have to account for himself to Me.”
Deuteronomy 18:19 CJB

We will all be held to account on what we say and do! So the best thing we can do is take in, listen to and do what the word of God tells us to do!

“I treasure your word in my heart, so that I won’t sin against You.”
Psalm 119:11 CJB

Are we treasuring the word of God in our hearts? Are we making God the center of our lives? If not, we really need to, especially as we see the world around us getting darker!

“Your word is a lamp for my foot and light on my path.”
Psalm 119:105 CJB

Today, we are so blessed to have the word of God literally at our finger tips! We can access His word anytime day or night!
Have a blessed day digging into the word of God and doing it!
