God is faithful to forgive!

“Turn over these good-for-nothings who are in Giv`ah at once, so that we can execute them and rid Israel of such evil. But the people of Binyamin refused to obey the order of their kinsmen the people of Israel.”
Judges 20:13 CJB

The obvious thing to do here would be to give up these evil men, but instead the Benjamites protected these evil men! Sadly, we see this happening today, with some people who want to protect drug dealers, human traffickers and embezzlers!

“They have deeply corrupted themselves, as in the days of Giv`ah. He will remember their guilt, and He will punish their sins.”
Hosea 9:9 CJB

Understand God will deal with corruption, no one is getting away with anything! What we need to remember is when we blow it, it’s best to give up, admit you’re wrong and repent! God is faithful and just to forgive!

“If we acknowledge our sins, since He is trustworthy and just, He will forgive them and purify us from all wrongdoing.”
1 John 1:9 CJB

Remember the key always is acknowledge, admit and repent! God will do the rest forgive, forget and restore!
Have a blessed day glorifying God!

God is always faithful

“But his concubine was unfaithful to him and left him to go to her father’s house at Beit-Lechhem in Y’hudah, where she stayed for some time, four months.”
Judges 19:2 CJB

This is one of the most troublesome chapters in Scripture, in my opinion, when we read what happens to this concubine! With that said, understand that we are no different than this concubine, we are all unfaithful! The good news is, God is always faithful!

“God is not human who lies or a mortal who changes his mind. When He says something, He will do it; when He makes a promise, He will fulfill it.”
Numbers 23:19 CJB

I’m so glad we don’t serve a God who changes His mind. He means what He says and says what He means! Our God is solid and totally reliable!

“For Adonai is good, His grace continues forever, and His faithfulness lasts through all generations.”
Psalm 100:5 CJB

We all should rejoice in the fact that God doesn’t give us what we deserve, death and damnation, but instead gives us grace and salvation!
May your day be richly blessed!

Worship God

“He answered, You’ve taken away my god, which I made, and gone off with the Cohen! What more have I got? How can you ask me, ‘What’s wrong with you?'”
Judges 18:24 CJB

This is crazy. This man made his god with his own hands and he worshipped it and now he’s lost without it! The sad thing is people do this today! They make their businesses, their financial kingdom and even their physical bodies then worship them as god! Understand they will all fail you!

“You are to have no other gods before me.”
Deuteronomy 5:7 CJB

What do you let stand before you and God? Is it a disease, government or a job? Is it health, wealth or even poverty? Do we let things get in our way of worshipping God?

“Come, let’s bow down and worship; let’s kneel before Adonai who made us.”
Psalm 95:6 CJB

The only thing we should be bowing down and worshipping is Adonai, our God who made us!
May your day be richly blessed worshipping God!
Shabbat Shalom!

What’s your priority?

“After Mikhah consecrated the Levi, the young man became his Cohen and stayed in Mikhah’s house.”
Judges 17:12 CJB

This is a sad situation that this young Levite (priest) basically prostituted himself out for personal gain! The sad thing is there are many ministries, organization and so called Bible teachers that do the same today!

“For the love of money is a root of all the evils; because of this craving, some people have wandered away from the faith and pierced themselves to the heart with many pains.”
1 Timothy 6:10 CJB

This is a problem today that people have a love of money, instead of a love for God! Understand it’s not a sin to be rich or poor! It’s a sin if you worship it!

“No one can be slave to two masters; for he will either hate the first and love the second, or scorn the second and be loyal to the first. You can’t be a slave to both God and money.”
Matthew 6:24 CJB

We all need to be careful of making wealth or poverty our priority, but instead let’s make Adonai our main priority!
Have a blessed day!
Shabbat Shalom!
