Be humble

“Stop your proud boasting! Don’t let arrogance come from your mouth! For Adonai is a God of knowledge, and he appraises action.”
1 Samuel 2:3 CJB

Proud and arrogant people never fit into God’s economy. He will always put them in there place! Also keep in mind He’s always watching what we are doing.

“Pride goes before destruction, and arrogance before failure.”
Proverbs 16:18 CJB

God desires us to be humble and to be teachable, not arrogant, thinking somehow we know more than we actually do! The world around us is full of people who think they are more intelligent than God! Adonai will deal with them. We just need to be humble and pray!

“May lying lips be struck dumb, that speak insolently against the righteous with such pride and contempt.”
Psalm 31:18 CJB

Today, realize it’s easy to be humble when we serve a perfect, mighty and all—knowing God! We just need to be bold about Adonai, because the world around us really needs Yeshua (Jesus)!
Have a blessed day!

Share good news

“I said, Oh, Adonai Elohim, I don’t even know how to speak! I’m just a child!”
Jeremiah 1:6 CJB

We are all sent out by Adonai to share His good news, unfortunately many of us get nervous because we fear rejection! Adonai has great advice for us.

“But Adonai said to me, Don’t say, I’m just a child. For you will go to whomever I send you, and you will speak whatever I order you.”
Jeremiah 1:7 CJB

Adonai always gives us the right words, what we need to do is be in line with Him by being in His word and in prayer!

“Do not be afraid of them, for I am with you, says Adonai, to rescue you.”
Jeremiah 1:8 CJB

Today, let’s look at the day before as opportunities to share the good news of Yeshua and expand the tribe of Adonai!
Have a blessed day!
Shabbat Shalom!

Pray

“She prayed for a long time before Adonai; and as she did so, Eli was watching her mouth.”
1 Samuel 1:12 CJB

How much time do we spend in prayer? Or are our prayers bless my mess, bless my food or bless me? We need to be more like Hannah, spending a long time in prayer and be direct and purposeful when we call on Adonai!

“Adonai has heard my pleading, Adonai will accept my prayer.”
Psalm 6:9 CJB

The word pleading is to make an emotional or earnest appeal. In other words we need to spend meaningful time in prayer!

“Pray regularly.”
1 Thessalonians 5:17 CJB

Today, really make it your purpose to pray about and over everything! Prayer really makes a difference!
Have a blessed day!
Shabbat Shalom!

We are part of God’s plan

“May your house, because of the seed Adonai will give you from this young woman, become like the house of Peretz, whom Tamar bore to Y’hudah,”
Ruth 4:12 CJB

What an incredible thing here, we see that through Judah and his sin to Ruth who is an outsider to David who would be king to Yeshua who is Messiah we see God’s perfect plan! God used the most unlikely people and situations to bring Yeshua to us! Why? Simply to show us that God has a plan and in that plan He will use the most unlikely people to accomplish it! The unlikely people are you and I!

“But God chose what the world considers nonsense in order to shame the wise; God chose what the world considers weak in order to shame the strong.”
1 Corinthians 1:27 CJB

God always has and always will use what the world deems as foolish and stupid to show how amazing He is!

“For My thoughts are not your thoughts, and your ways are not My ways, says Adonai.”
Isaiah 55:8 CJB

Today, if you’re feeling foolish, unusable or just worthless, know this: God looks at you as His perfect instrument to be used in this world to confound the wise!
Have a blessed day knowing you a part of God’s perfect plan!

Our redeemer lives

“Now, it is true that I am a redeeming kinsman; but there is a redeemer who is a closer relative than I am.”
Ruth 3:12 CJB

A couple of interesting points in this biblical account, but I want to make an applicable point here for us! Now we can get friends, family and institutions to redeem us in one way or another, but the redeemer that is the closer is Yeshua! He alone is able to redeem us from anything!

“But I know that my Redeemer lives, that in the end He will rise on the dust; so that after my skin has been destroyed, then even my flesh, I will see God.”
Job 19:25-26 CJB

Yes, our Redeemer lives and has redeemed us and soon we will be with Him! That is something totally worth living for!

“For now we see obscurely in a mirror, but then it will be face to face. Now I know partly; then I will know fully, just as God has fully known me.”
1 Corinthians 13:12 CJB

Today, things may be unclear or not quite understandable, but soon and very soon we will be face to face with our Redeemer and we will see everything perfectly clear! What a glorious day that will be!
Have a blessed day looking forward to being with Adonai!
