“Therefore listen, Israel, and take care to obey, so that things will go well with you, and so that you will increase greatly, as Adonai, the God of your ancestors, promised you by giving a land with milk and honey.”

Here we see that when the Israelites pleaded with God, He gave them the promised land to go to! The problem was they rebelled time and time again! But every time they pleaded to God and He answered them!

“Haven’t you known, haven’t you heard that the everlasting God, Adonai, the Creator of the ends of the earth, does not grow tired or weary? His understanding cannot be fathomed.”
Isaiah 40:28 CJB

This is something so mind boggling to me, how we can blow it and then plead to God and He forgives us over and over again!
We truly have an amazing God who we get to serve and walk with in His ways!

“How happy is everyone who fears Adonai, who lives by His ways.”
Psalm 128:1 CJB

Today, let’s be a people who simply just follow Adonai in everything!

“Then an evil spirit from Adonai came upon Sha’ul, as he sat in his house with his spear in his hand. David was playing his lyre, when Sha’ul tried to pin David to the wall with the spear. But he dodged it and moved out of Sha’ul’s way, so that the spear stuck in the wall. David fled, so that night he escaped.”
1 Samuel 19:9-10 CJB

We see evil spirits all around us on a daily basis and we also have to dodge the spears of the evil people! We have evil politicians, news media and people we come in contact with! Do we need to fear? No! We have Adonai, who protects us!

“Even if I pass through death-dark ravines, I will fear no disaster; for you are with me; your rod and staff reassure me.”
Psalm 23:4 CJB

That’s right we have Adonai, who is with us even in the darkest ravines we can walk through! We really have nothing to fear. We are blood bought and bullet proof!

“No weapon made will prevail against you. In court you will refute every accusation. The servants of Adonai inherit all this; the reward for their righteousness is from Me, says Adonai.”
Isaiah 54:17 CJB

Today, realize as believers in Yeshua we will have constant spears being thrown at us, but we have to always be reminded we have Adonai, who is with us!

David’s success wasn’t in his ways, but in the fact that he was doing things God’s way, not his own!

“Make me know Your ways, Adonai, teach Me your paths.”

We need to have this same heart and mind-set, teach me Your ways, oh God! Let’s make every choice and decision go before Adonai first!

“Turn my eyes away from worthless things; with Your ways, give me life.”
Psalm 119:37 CJB

Today, let’s be a people who really look to walk in the ways of Adonai, not our own ways!

Are we like David who knew that Adonai was on his side, so he ran towards that battle? Or do we run and hide?

“Then David said to Solomon his son, Be strong, be bold, and do it! Don’t be afraid or become discouraged! For Adonai, God is with you. He will not fail you or abandon you until all the work for the service of Adonai has been finished.”
1 Chronicles 28:20 CJB

Understand while we are walking on this earth the work God has for us isn’t finished! We just need to be bold and do what Adonai has called us to do!

“Haven’t I ordered you, Be strong, be bold? So don’t be afraid or downhearted, because Adonai your God is with you wherever you go.”
Joshua 1:9 CJB

Today, realize there are so many things that can discourage us, but our God wants us to be strong and bold!

“But Adonai said to Samuel, Don’t pay attention to how he looks or how tall he is, because I have rejected him. Adonai doesn’t see the way humans see-humans look at the outward appearance, but Adonai looks at the heart.”

We all can get caught up in looking at what is on the outside or how popular a person is, but God looks at the heart and what is on the inside!

“But God chose what the world considers nonsense in order to shame the wise; God chose what the world considers weak in order to shame the strong; and God chose what the world looks down on as common or regards as nothing in order to bring to nothing what the world considers important so that no one should boast before God.”
1 Corinthians 1:27-29 CJB

We need to be careful of being impressed by things and people of the world, but instead let’s be impressed by Adonai and what He sees! He does allow crazy, foolish things to glorify Himself!

“For My thoughts are not your thoughts, and your ways are not My ways, says Adonai.”
Isaiah 55:8 CJB

Today, let’s look to Adonai and all His wonderful perfect ways! Don’t get caught up in the world and its foolishness!
