Be gracious

“David said, I will show grace to Hanun the son of Nachash, as his father showed grace to me. So David sent his servants to pass him a message of comfort concerning his father. David’s servants entered the territory of the people of Amon.”
2 Samuel 10:2 CJB

No matter what, we need to show grace to people, even our enemies! It doesn’t matter if we don’t like their politics, religion or lifestyles, we don’t have to agree with them or accept their lifestyles, we just need to show grace! Be kind!

“Give thanks to Adonai; for he is good, for His grace continues forever.”
1 Chronicles 16:34 CJB

God shows us grace all the time and we need to extend that same grace to those around us! When we are gracious to people, it always brings them closer to the saving grace of God!

“Adonai is merciful and compassionate, slow to anger and great in grace.”
Psalm 145:8 CJB

Today, let’s be a body of believers who reflect the amazing grace of our Father in heaven! The world around us really needs to not only hear about His compassion and grace, but they also need to see it!
Have a blessed day living in His grace!

We belong to God

“He prostrated himself and said, What is your servant that makes you pay such attention to a dead dog like me?”
2 Samuel 9:8 CJB

We can ask the same question of God, why does He love us so?

“For God so loved the world that He gave His only and unique Son, so that everyone who trusts in Him may have eternal life, instead of being utterly destroyed.”
John 3:16 CJB

It can be hard to wrap our brains around how much God loves us, but know this: He does and has given everything so we can be saved and live with Him! This should give us the ultimate desire to cling to Him everyday!

“You are to follow Adonai your God, fear Him, obey His mitzvot, listen to what He says, serve Him and cling to Him.”
Deuteronomy 13:5 CJB

Today, with all the things going on in the world that hates us, we need to cling to and obey the God who loves us! Realize we are nothing more than a dead dog, but to God we are His perfect creation!
Have a blessed day clinging to God!

Be just!

“David ruled over all Israel; David administered law and justice for all his people.”
2 Samuel 8:15 CJB

We need to follow David’s example here. We also need to be ministers of justice, showing justice to people around us!

“Human being, you have already been told what is good, what Adonai demands of you-no more than to act justly, love grace and walk in purity with your God.”
Micah 6:8 CJB

What Adonai requires of us isn’t that complicated or hard for us to do! To be just, be gracious and walk uprightly with those around us!

“Adonai is good, and He is fair; this is why He teaches sinners the way [to live], leads the humble to do what is right and teaches the humble [to live] His way.”
Psalm 25:8-9 CJB

Today, let’s be careful of treating people poorly. When we are kind and just to others we will always see them be more receptive to Yeshua!
Have a blessed day being just, loving grace and walking uprightly with our God!

Share good news

“How beautiful on the mountains are the feet of him who brings good news, proclaiming shalom, bringing good news of good things, announcing salvation and saying to Tziyon, Your God is King.”
Isaiah 52:7 CJB

With all the crazy rhetoric that we hear on a daily basis, the best way to combat it is to share the good news of our King and His salvation for us!

“Justice, only justice, you must pursue; so that you will live and inherit the land Adonai your God is giving you.”
Deuteronomy 16:20 CJB

We need to be careful of passing judgment on the crazy world! We need to find comfort in the fact that God will do it and we don’t have to! What we get to do is share the joyful good news of salvation!

“Come, let’s sing to Adonai! Let’s shout for joy to the Rock of our salvation.!”
Psalm 95:1 CJB

Today, is the day to share the good news and not get caught up in the bad views of the world!
Have a blessed day in Yeshua!
Shabbat Shalom!

Look to Adonai

“David was frightened of Adonai that day; he asked, How can the ark of Adonai come to me?”
2 Samuel 6:9 CJB

We should always have a healthy fear of Adonai, we need to remember we are not His equal!

“The first and foremost point of wisdom is the fear of Adonai; all those living by it gain good common sense. His praise stands forever.”
Psalm 111:10 CJB

In everything we do we must do it Adonai’s way not ours! We need to have a healthy fear of Adonai. Remember, He is God!

“Commit your way to Adonai; trust in Him, and He will act.”
Psalm 37:5 CJB

Today, let’s really look to Adonai for everything! Then watch How He will act and fulfill all our needs, not wants!
Have a blessed day in Him!
Shabbat Shalom!
