If you truly want real rest, it can only be found in Adonai, who gives real rest to His people! A vacation won’t do it or extra hours of sleep! Only truly resting in Adonai and laying all burdens upon Him will give you real rest!

“Come to Me, all of you who are struggling and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, because I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy, and My burden is light.”
Matthew 11:28-30 CJB

We can all feel worn out, tired and burdened! It may be work, bills or health! But Yeshua says just give it to Him and then simply take His yoke and learn from Him and He’ll give you rest!

“Desist, and learn that I am God, supreme over nations, supreme over the earth.”
Psalm 46:10 CJB

Today, no matter what you may be struggling with, just simply drop it and let it go and watch God take over and rest in Adonai!

We need to ask this same thing: may God give us common sense! Why? Because everything God does is common sense!

“Good common sense is a fountain of life to one who has it, whereas fools are punished by their own folly.”

Wisdom and common sense are totally from Adonai, it’s when we rely on our own understanding and ways that we fall into trouble!

“Our LORD is great, His power is vast, His wisdom is beyond telling.”
Psalm 147:5 CJB

Today, don’t fall into the trap of thinking you know it all! Remember, if you’re to cool for school then you’re a fool! Adonai is always going to show us His wisdom. We just need to do it!

The enemy (Satan) is always going to try and incite us to do things that may seem right but are not! We always need to be checking with Adonai to see what His will is!

“I call on Adonai, who is worthy of praise; and I am saved from my enemies.”
2 Samuel 22:4 CJB

We are always going to be better off when we call on Adonai before we just do! Remember the enemy is full of deception and often times his ways may even seem right! We always need to be checking the word of God for direction!

“How can a young man keep his way pure? By guarding it according to Your word.”
Psalm 119:9 CJB

Today, let’s be in the word of God, so we can guard ourselves from doing ungodly things!

When we give the battle to God, He will always defeat the enemies before us!

“He said, listen, all Y’hudah, you who live in Yerushalayim (Jerusalem) and King Y’hoshafat: here is what Adonai is saying to you: Don’t be afraid or distressed by this great horde; for the battle is not yours, but God’s.”

We all need to be reminded of this often that the battles we are in presently are not ours , but they belong to God and He will overcome them!

Today, we need to take all our problems and battles to Adonai and leave them for Him! Why? Because He can totally handle them and deal with them! Don’t try to hold onto the battles or try to help out God, He has it all under control.

What an interesting statement “How dreadful or how fearsome”! This type of statement only comes from someone who is running from God! The problem is no matter how hard someone may try, they can’t run from God!

“The eyes of Adonai are everywhere, watching the evil and the good.”

God sees and knows all, so we shouldn’t even try to hide or run from Him! We need to be running to Adonai for everything!

“Adonai’s arm is not too short to save, nor is His ear too dull to hear.”
Isaiah 59:1 CJB

Today, whenever and wherever we go out, we need to be going towards Adonai! What a blessing to know He is everywhere we go!
