Step out

“Adonai asked Moshe, Why are you crying to me? Tell the people of Israel to go forward!”
Exodus 14:15 CJB

Often times we all can get caught up in whining and complaining when we just need to suck it up and move forward in Adonai and especially stop dwelling in the past!

“Haven’t I ordered you, ‘Be strong, be bold’? So don’t be afraid or downhearted, because Adonai your God is with you wherever you go.”
Joshua 1:9 CJB

Adonai has taken care of all the details of life, He has conquered our enemies even if we don’t see it yet! What we need to do is just stop crying and step out! Be like Peter. Get out of the boat and walk(Matthew 14:29)!

“They will fight against you, but they will not overcome you, for I am with you, says Adonai, to rescue you.”
Jeremiah 1:19 CJB

Today, don’t get caught up in self-pity or worry, but instead just step out in Adonai and go forward! Don’t look back!
Have a blessed day!
Shabbat Shalom!

Rely upon Adonai

“For I would have been ashamed to ask the king for a detachment of soldiers and horsemen to protect us from enemies along the road, since we had said to the king, The hand of our God is on all who seek Him, for good; but His power and fury is against all who abandon Him.”
Ezra 8:22 CJB

Do we trust God or do we trust the world? We should be ashamed if we are calling on the world for help instead of calling on Adonai, who never leaves us or forsakes us!

“Some trust in chariots and some in horses, but we praise the name of Adonai our God.”
Psalm 20:7 CJB

We really need to rely upon Adonai for all our needs! Why? Because Adonai desires us to call upon Him for everything!

“But I will call on God, and Adonai will save me.”
Psalm 55:16 CJB

Today, we need to call on God for all our needs and trust Him for all our protection!
Have a blessed day trusting in Him!
Shabbat Shalom!

Obey

“Whatever is ordered by the God of heaven is to be performed exactly for the house of the God of heaven; for why should wrath come against the realm of the king and his sons?”
Ezra 7:23 CJB

Even this secular king knows enough to do as God instructs us to do! The thing is we believers seem to think at times that we can ignore the instructions of God!

“You are to follow Adonai your God, fear Him, obey His mitzvot (commands), listen to what He says, serve Him and cling to Him.”
Deuteronomy 13:5 CJB

God created us to serve Him and obey Him! Yes, He gives us free choice, but the best choice is always going to be serving and clinging to Him!

“I cling to Your instruction; Adonai, don’t let me be put to shame!”
Psalm 119:31 CJB

Today, the best thing we all can do is simply obey God. It will always bring us His peace and success!
Have a blessed day in Adonai!

Join together

“The people of Israel, the chohanim(priests), the L’vi’im(Levites) and the other people from the exile joyfully dedicated this house of God.”
Ezra 6:16 CJB

There is always great joy from many different groups of people joined together in a place dedicated to God!

“Be glad in Adonai; rejoice, you righteous! Shout for joy, all you upright in heart!”
Psalm 32:11 CJB

When we are with other believers rejoicing about God, we can’t help being glad, especially when we see the work He is doing!

“This has come from Adonai, and in our eyes it is amazing?”
Mark 12:11 CJB

Today, let’s join with other believers to rejoice, be glad and be amazed by Adonai!
Have a blessed day!

God has His perfect way

“But in the first year of Koresh king of Bavel, Koresh the king gave authorization to rebuild this house of God.”
Ezra 5:13 CJB

This is about twenty-five hundred years ago and Koresh (Cyrus) the king of Babylon, in fact the most powerful ruler at this time. He gave the children of Israel permission (which is really from God) to go back to Jerusalem and rebuild the temple and he also financed it!
God can and does use everyone and everything to do His will!

“For My thoughts are not your thoughts, and your ways are not My ways, says Adonai.”
Isaiah 55:8 CJB

What we should see here is that Adonai will use the saved and the unsaved to accomplish His will! So when things seem out of place, know that Adonai has got a plan and it will all work out!

“This is the day Adonai has made, a day for us to rejoice and to be glad.”
Psalm 118:24 CJB

Today, even when things seem odd or unbelievable! Remember, God is always doing things and everything is going to be alright!
Have a blessed day!
