Pray

“Go, assemble all the Jews to be found in Shushan, and have them fast for me, neither eating nor drinking for three days, night and day; also I and the girls attending me will fast the same way. Then I will go in to the king, which is against the law; and if I perish, I perish.”
Esther 4:16 CJB

Here we see that push comes to shove. The Jews are going to be annihilated, so now is the time to stand up and speak out!

“Stand up, and do your duty, for we are with you; take courage, and do it!”
Ezra 10:4 CJB

Often times we need to hold our tongue, but before we stand up and speak out we really need to spend time in prayer!

“When you call to Me and pray to Me, I will listen to you.”
Jeremiah 29:12 CJB

Understand when we feel it’s time to step out and speak, we really should spend time in prayer, seeking Adonia and His will!

“Pray regularly.”
1 Thessalonians 5:17 CJB

Today, realize we should always be in prayer, seeking Adonai in every situation!
Have a blessed day in Adonai!

Stand for Adonai

“All the king’s servants at the King’s Gate would kneel and bow down before Haman, because the king had so ordered. But Mordekhai would neither kneel nor bow down to him.”
Esther 3:2 CJB

Like Mordekhai, we shouldn’t bow down to man or man’s systems! In fact, we need to take a stand for Adonai, no matter what it cost!

“Whoever acknowledges Me in the presence of others I will also acknowledge in the presence of My Father in heaven.”
Matthew 10:32 CJB

Even as we saw Esther in chapter two keep silent about who she was, it doesn’t at all mean we should bow down or be like the world! Keeping quiet until the right time to speak isn’t bowing down! We should only bow down to Adonai!

“I will praise Adonai as long as I live. I will sing praises to my God all my life.”
Psalm 146:2 CJB

We should always stand firm for Adonai, never bowing down to the world, we just need to be wise about when to speak! Be like Yeshua, who never bowed down and always waited for the right time to speak!
Have a blessed day standing for Adonai!

Be wise

“Esther did not disclose her people or family ties, because Mordekhai had instructed her not to tell anyone.”
Esther 2:10 CJB

At times it is best to keep quiet about who we are and wait for the right time! Often times it is better to act godly instead of just being loud and direct!

“The character of even a child is known by how he acts, by whether his deeds are pure and right.”
Proverbs 20:11 CJB

We need to act like believers, so when we do need to speak our actions back our words!

“In the same way, let your light shine before people, so that they may see the good things you do and praise your Father in heaven.”
Matthew 5:16 CJB

Today, even if you feel you’re in a difficult situation where maybe you can’t speak out, simply just continue to be godly and wait to speak at the God—appointed time!
Have a blessed day looking for the right opportunities!

Be kind

“Moreover, the noble ladies of Persia and Media who hear of the queen’s conduct will mention it to all the king’s officials, which will bring about no end of disrespect and discord.”
Esther 1:18 CJB

This can be a touchy subject about wives honoring their husbands, but the fact of the matter is, we live in a society that’s been belittling men for decades! Just look at some of the sitcoms we have had over the years making men out to be fools! Women really do need to honor and respect their husbands, but men need to love and protect their wives!

“Wives should submit to their husbands as they do to the LORD; because the husband is head of the wife, just as the Messiah, as head of the Messianic Community, is himself the one who keeps the body safe.”
Ephesians 5:22-23 CJB

Men really need to be stepping up to the plate to be strong believers in Yeshua, leading their wives, and wives should be supportive of that!

“As for husbands, love your wives, just as the Messiah loved the Messianic Community, indeed, gave Himself up on its behalf.”
Ephesians 5:25 CJB

Today, understand men don’t need to be dictators and ogres towards your wives, we just need to love them! Wives don’t need to be disrespectful to your husbands, just love and support them! If you’re not married just love Adonai and be kind to others and pray for your future spouse!
Have a blessed day in Yeshua!

Shalom

“Adonai gave Shlomo (Solomon) wisdom, as he had promised him; and there was peace between Hiram and Shlomo-the two then formed an alliance together.”
1 Kings 5:26 CJB 5:12 in other translations

We see here God gives what He promises to us! One of the things He promises us is to give us shalom (peace) and when we walk in His peace it really does spread!

“What I am leaving with you is shalom-I am giving you My shalom. I don’t give the way the world gives. Don’t let yourselves be upset or frightened.”
John 14:27 CJB

The world gives false peace, but Yeshua gives us His perfect peace and real peace gives us real security and comfort!

“For I know what plans I have in mind for you,’ says Adonai,’ plans for well being, not for bad things; so that you can have hope and a future.”
Jeremiah 29:11 CJB

Today, seek God and His perfect shalom (peace) receive it and then give it out!
Have a blessed day!
Shabbat Shalom!
