Fear God not man

“Esther said, A ruthless enemy-it’s this wicked Haman! Haman stood aghast, terrified before the king and queen.”
Esther 7:6 CJB

We need to ask ourselves what are we afraid of? Do we fear man or God and the fear of God is to go through life without Him! We see wicked Haman is terrified of the king and queen, but has no fear of God!

“The fear of Adonai is clean, enduring forever. The rulings of Adonai are true, they are righteous altogether.”
Psalm 19:9 CJB

Fearing God over man is always going to be better, leading us to a cleaner walk and a better life! When we fear man it will lead us to depression and an uneasy life!

“In God-I praised His word-in God I trust; I have no fear; what can human power do to me?”
Psalm 56:4 CJB

Today, when we tangle ourselves up in the fear of man, living our lives that way, we will be miserable and terrified of the world! When we have a healthy fear of Adonai and walk in His ways, we are blessed without fear of man!
Have a blessed day in Yeshua!

Strange fire

“You are not to offer unauthorized incense on it, or a burnt offering or grain offering; and you are not to pour drink offerings on it.”
Exodus 30:9 CJB

We all need to be careful of doing things ungodly or unauthorized by God! We are to follow His commands as found in His word backed up by His word! The problem that so often happens is a word gets taken out of context and some man backs it up and we get strange fire!

“But Nadav and Aviv, sons of Aharon, each took his sensor, put fire in it, laid incense on it, and offered unauthorized fire before Adonai, something He had not ordered them to do.”
Leviticus 10:1 CJB

These two young men knew what was right, but instead did their own thing and called it of God! We all need to keep our eyes wide open because there are all kinds of strange fire out in the world misrepresenting God! What’s the cure?

“Seek Adonai and His strength; always seek His presence.”
1 Chronicles 16:11 CJB

Today, be aware of strange fire, just because it feels like it’s so spiritual or anointed doesn’t mean it’s of God! All things need to be backed up by His word! Good rule of thumb is His word being preached, not bits and pieces but His whole word!
Have a blessed day seeking God!
Shabbat Shalom!

Don’t be jealous

“Then Mordekhai returned to the King’s Gate; but Haman rushed home with his head covered in mourning.”
Esther 6:12 CJB

Be careful of mourning or being discouraged when someone else is being honored! It never ends well for you when do! It didn’t work out so well for Haman in the end! Don’t allow pride or jealousy take hold in your heart!

“Pride goes before destruction, and arrogance before failure.”
Proverbs 16:18 CJB

Pride and jealousy will always destroy us from the inside out!

“Rejoice with those who rejoice, and weep with those who weep.”
Romans 12:15 CJB

Today, let’s be people who rejoice in other peoples victories!
Have a blessed day!
Shabbat Shalom!

God has a perfect plan for you

“Yet none of this does me any good at all, as long as I keep seeing Mordekhai the Jew remaining seated at the King’s Gate.”
Esther 5:13 CJB

Does our jealousy or even hate of someone control our lives? We can all fall into the trap of having someone in our lives who we become jealous of or try to compare ourselves to! We need to be reminded that God has perfectly made us and has a specific thing for us to do!

“I thank You because I am awesomely made, wonderfully; Your works are wonders-I know this very well.”
Psalm 139:14 CJB

We need to look and see what God has for us, not what He has for someone else!

“Your eyes could see me as an embryo, but in Your book all my days were already written; my days had been shaped before any of them existed.”
Psalm 139:16 CJB

Today, know that every day we spend here on earth has been perfectly planned out by Adonai! Even the days that we deem as bad ones are still part of His perfect plan for us!
May your day be super blessed as you look to see what Adonai has planned for your day!

Pray

“Go, assemble all the Jews to be found in Shushan, and have them fast for me, neither eating nor drinking for three days, night and day; also I and the girls attending me will fast the same way. Then I will go in to the king, which is against the law; and if I perish, I perish.”
Esther 4:16 CJB

Here we see that push comes to shove. The Jews are going to be annihilated, so now is the time to stand up and speak out!

“Stand up, and do your duty, for we are with you; take courage, and do it!”
Ezra 10:4 CJB

Often times we need to hold our tongue, but before we stand up and speak out we really need to spend time in prayer!

“When you call to Me and pray to Me, I will listen to you.”
Jeremiah 29:12 CJB

Understand when we feel it’s time to step out and speak, we really should spend time in prayer, seeking Adonia and His will!

“Pray regularly.”
1 Thessalonians 5:17 CJB

Today, realize we should always be in prayer, seeking Adonai in every situation!
Have a blessed day in Adonai!
