It does seem like the wicked world has every earthly possession and opportunity in life, but because they don’t have salvation, they actually never have enough!

“Why do the wicked go on living, grow old and keep increasing their power?”
Job 21:7 CJB

This isn’t a new question and it’s a theme throughout scripture why does the wicked seemingly do better in life than the believers? Answer: they will get their just rewards in this life, what comes next for them isn’t going to be good! We as believers have a future with Adonai!

“For I know what plans I have in mind for you,’says Adonai,’plans for well-being, not for bad things; so that you can have hope and a future.”
Jeremiah 29:11 CJB

Adonai has a perfect plan for us and that is what we should focus on, not how the wicked seemingly are doing better! Remember, they will get what’s coming to them! In the meantime pray!

“When you call to Me and pray to Me, I will listen to you.”
Jeremiah 29:12 CJB

Today, let’s spend our time focusing on Adonai and less time on the wicked world!

Remember, God provided Israel everything when they left Egypt: food, possessions and a way out! We need to tell the story of what Adonai has done for us. WHY? One, so we don’t forget and Two, to encourage others!

“Adonai did do great things with us; and we are overjoyed.”
Psalm 126:3 CJB

Adonai has given us a new day everyday we wake up filled with His mercies! He has given us salvation, He saved us from Egypt (the world). That alone should lead us to rejoice and tell about His great story of salvation!

“Blessed be Adonai! Every day He bears our burden, God is our salvation. Our God is God who saves; from Adonai comes escape from death.”
Psalm 68:19-20 CJB

Today, we may have a lot of things going on around us, but the best thing we have is Adonai and He is the best thing we can talk about! No matter what, Adonai will get us through, so rest in Him!

All creation trembles at the hand of Adonai! Unfortunately most people in the world don’t! We as believers need to look for every opportunity to praise Adonai, even if it’s not everything we think He should bless us with, we still need to praise Adonai!

“Sing praise to Adonai, you faithful of His; and give thanks on recalling His holiness.”
Psalm 30:40 CJB

If Adonai only just saved our souls, and did not judge the world, His salvation should be sufficient for us! We need to praying for the unsaved world, but we really need to focus more on Adonai!

“Give thanks to Adonai, for He is good, for His grace continues forever.”
Psalm 136:1 CJB

Today, we may have all kinds of troubles in our lives, but remember God’s grace is sufficient for us in all things!

That’s right. Dominion belongs to God and yes, we should fear Him! The problem is, even among believers, there is little fear of God who created the universe! We as believers need to have a healthy fear and respect for Adonai!

“Crime speaks to the wicked. I perceive this in my heart; before his eyes there is no fear of God.”

or
“There is no fear of God before their eyes.”
Romans 3:18 CJB

This is how the world looks at God, with no respect or fear! The world is standing on shaky ground and even some in the church who do what they feel is right in their own eyes, giving into all kinds of wicked unbiblical things! What do we as believers need to be doing?

“I treasure Your word in my heart, so that I won’t sin against You.”
Psalm 119:11 CJB

Today, more than ever, we need to be digging into the word of God and not only hearing His word, but doing what it says! We also need to be praying for the wicked world around us to repent!

It may seem like God allows evil to just keep going, but understand He will deal with it!

“Don’t delude yourselves: no one makes a fool of God! A person reaps what he sows.”

You will reap what you sow! Selfish evil people will reap all the rotten and evil things they sow! If you are sowing in sin, you will reap the repercussions of sin!

“But if you will not do this, then you have sinned against Adonai, and you must understand that your sin will find you out.”
Numbers 32:23 CJB

Adonai knows all and sees all! He sees the good we do and also the bad things. Today, don’t get hung up on the bad things of the world or our personal mistakes, but instead, let’s get hung up on Adonai!
