Be sweet

“For I am full of words; the spirit within me compels me.”
Job 32:18 CJB

Here we see the writer saying there is much more that he wants to say, but the Spirit of Adonai constrains him! This is a good word for us because often times we should just hold our tongues!

“A gentle response deflects fury, but a harsh word makes tempers rise.”
Proverbs 15:1 CJB

Often times in situations if we just bite our tongues and be sweet in our speech much more can be accomplished! Often times when we are gentle and pleasant many problems will never occur!

“A soothing tongue is a tree of life, but when it twists things it breaks the spirit.”
Proverbs 15:4 CJB

Today, we all need to learn that we can attract more people with a voice of honey than we can with vinegar! Adonai is sweet not bitter and so should we be!
Have a blessed day speaking sweetly to people!
Shabbat Shalom!

God knows all!

“Doesn’t He see my ways and count all my steps?”
Job 31:4 CJB

The answer is YES! God knows all and sees all! So be sure that we can’t get away with anything! Also He knows the day, the hour and the minute He will take us home! So let’s be living for Him!

“Adonai, You have probed me, and You know me.”
Psalm 139:1 CJB

This speaks of how God is all-knowing, He’s all-knowledgeable, and all-mighty! Knowing this should immensely comfort us and lead us to put all our trust in Adonai!

“Examine me, God, and know my heart; test me, and know my thoughts. See if there is in me any hurtful way, and lead me along the eternal way.”
Psalm 139:23-24 CJB

Today, let’s be open before Adonai! Why? Because He knows all already and He really is our only hope! So let’s just give it all to Him! Let’s also use our time sharing about the greatness of God!
Have a blessed day in Him!

Don’t stop calling out to God!

“I call out to You [God], but you don’t answer me; I stand up to plead, but you just look at me.”
Job 30:20 CJB

We can feel like this too! Calling out to God and feeling like He doesn’t answer! This is the farthest thing from the truth! God hears you!

“With my voice I call out to Adonai, and He answers me from His holy hill.”
Psalm 3:4 CJB

We need to ask ourselves if God isn’t answering us is it because He’s not speaking or is it because we aren’t getting the answer we want?

“For My thoughts are not Your thoughts, and your ways are not My ways, says Adonai.”
Isaiah 55:8 CJB

Today, If you are not getting the answers you want from Adonai, maybe change your requests by getting into His word and modifying your request to be more in line with God!
Have a blessed day calling out to Adonai!

There is joy in Adonai

“When I joked with them, they couldn’t believe it; and they never darkened the light of my face.”
Job 29:24 CJB

No matter how bad things had gotten for Job, he still found a way of laughing and having some humor, not letting his situation overtake him!

“When the king’s face brightens, it means life; his favor is like the clouds that bring spring rain.”
Proverbs 16:15 CJB

The best thing we can do when things are tough, is to make light of the situation! Laughter is always a cure for gloom and depression!

“Our mouths were full of laughter, and our tongues shouted for joy. Among the nations it was said, Adonai has done great things for them! Adonai did do great things with us; and we are overjoyed.”
Psalm 126:2-3 CJB

Today, if you are feeling down, think back to the great things that Adonai has done and continues to do for us! This should bring you joy, encouragement and even some laughter!
Have a blessed day filled with the joy Adonai

God has the wisdom we need!

“But where can wisdom be found? Where is the source of understanding?”
Job 28:12 CJB

Man has always been looking for what he calls wisdom and understanding! The problem is people always look in the wrong places in the world, instead of God!

“Happy the person who finds wisdom; the person who acquires understanding.”
Proverbs 3:13 CJB

The biggest thing we should fear is going through life without Adonai! Why? Because He knows all and sees all and it is unwise to try and do anything without Him!

“And to human beings he said, ‘Look, fear of Adonai is wisdom! Shunning evil is understanding!’ “
Job 28:28 CJB

Today, we really do have a lot of things we can look at and listen to! But the only real wisdom comes from Adonai and fearing doing life without Him!
Have a blessed day!
