Make God your everything

“We all, like sheep, went astray; we turned each one, to his own way; yet Adonai laid on Him the guilt of all of us.”
Isaiah 53:6 CJB

The reality is we all go astray and we all do our own thing, which leads us to all kinds of trouble! So we all need a Saviour to save us from ourselves!

“Adonai is my Rock, my Fortress and deliverer, my God, my Rock, in whom I find shelter, my Shield, the power that saves me, my Stronghold.”
Psalm 18:3 CJB

Here is a good question, is God your everything? Or do you think you can rely on your own strength, health, finances or intellect? If you answer yes to any of these, then God isn’t your everything!

“As for God, His way is perfect, the word of Adonai has been tested by fire; He shields all who take refuge in Him.
For who is God but Adonai? Who is a Rock but our God?”
Psalm 18:31-32 CJB

We can go on and on about what we think we can or can’t do, but understand God can do all things! We just need to trust Him in everything!
Have a blessed day!
Shabbat Shalom!

Watch

“Listen!! Your watchmen are raising their voices, shouting for joy together . For they will see, before their own eyes, Adonai returning to Tziyon.”
Isaiah 52:8 CJB

Are we being watchmen for Adonai? If not, we should be! Don’t be watching for the president, wars or social events, but let’s be watching for Adonai!

“I will stand at my watchpost; I will station myself on the rampart. I will look to see what [God] will say through me and what I will answer when I am reproved.”
Habakkuk 2:1 CJB

Like Habakkuk, we need to be watching and listening for Adonai! What Adonai says and does is all that really matters.

“Stay alert! Be on guard! For you do not know when the time will come.”
Mark 13:33 CJB

Today, let’s be watching for Adonai, being alert and on guard for His soon coming!
Have a blessed day!
Shabbat Shalom!

Look to God’s word!

“Listen to me, you who know justice, you who have My Torah (instruction) in your heart: don’t be afraid of people’s taunts, don’t be upset by their insults.”
Isaiah 51:7 CJB

We can never go wrong when we are putting the word of God into our hearts!

“I treasure Your word in my heart, so that I won’t sin against You.”
Psalm 119:11 CJB

It is always good to memorize scripture especially scripture that deals with our situation!

“Your word is a lamp for my foot and light to my path.”
Psalm 119:105 CJB

The best guidance we have is the Word of God! It is the best way to walk through life and we have complete access to it!
Have a blessed day walking with the word of God!

God hears you!

“For Adonai Elohim will help. This is why no insult can wound me. This is why I have set My face like flint, knowing I will not be put to shame.”
Isaiah 50:7 CJB

This is the attitude we should all have: not will God help me, but He will help me! We should have total confidence in Him!

“Hear me, Adonai, and show me Your favor! Adonai, be my helper!”
Psalm 30:10 CJB

The good news is Adonai hears us and He shows us favor!

“Adonai, hear my prayer; listen to my pleas for mercy. In Your faithfulness, answer me, and in your righteousness.”
Psalm 143:1 CJB

Yes, we need to make our requests unto Adonai, knowing He will hear us and also will help us!
Have a blessed day walking in the faithfulness of Adonai!

Be encouraged

“But I said, I have toiled in vain, spent my strength for nothing, futility. Yet my cause is with Adonai, my reward is with my God.”
Isaiah 49:4 CJB

We at times may feel dejected and rejected, we also may feel like total failures! But be encouraged. God is in control and we have victory in Him and through Him!

“Yours, Adonai, is the greatness, the power, the glory, the victory and the majesty; for everything in heaven and on earth is yours. The kingdom is Yours, Adonai; and you are exalted as head over all.”
1 Chronicles 29:11 CJB

No matter how things may look in the world, God is in total control and will have ultimate victory! So be reassured, knowing everything is going to be ok!

“Blessed be Adonai, God, the God of Israel, who alone works wonders.”
Psalm 72:18 CJB

So don’t be discouraged by temporary setbacks and failures, but instead be encouraged that we serve God who is victorious!
Have a blessed day!
