This is really simple. No matter what, God wants us to take a day off and rest in Him! He wants us to stop all regular activity and rest in Him and don’t do things to try to get ahead!

“Remember the day, Shabbat, to set it apart for God.”
Exodus 20:8 CJB

Ask yourself, if you take one day of the week and set it apart for God, do you think Adonai will bless it? The answer is yes! He will not only bless it but He will also give you the real rest you really need!

“If you do, you will find delight in Adonai—I will make you ride on the heights of the land and feed you with the heritage of your ancestor Ya`akov (Jacob), for the mouth of Adonai has spoken.”
Isaiah 58:14 CJB

Understand, one of the best things we can do for ourselves is take a Sabbath rest in Adonai!

When we see the wicked doing well or getting ahead, understand their lives really have no real peace! If you really want peace, it can only be found in Adonai!

When we look to Adonai for all our hope and peace, we will have it! So don’t look to the world for peace. It will never give it to you!

“What I am leaving with you is shalom-I am giving you My shalom. I don’t give the way the world gives. Don’t let yourselves be upset or frightened.”
John 14:27 CJB

Today, don’t look to the world and its wickedness, which will never give you peace, but look to Adonai. He has what you need!

We need to be people who are serving and obeying Adonai! Why? He is coming soon and walking in His ways is always going to be best!

What Adonai requires from us isn’t too hard or complicated! To be just, love mercy and walk in purity with Him! We just need to do it without making excuses!

“Happy is the person who does this, anyone who grasps it firmly, who keeps Shabbat and does not profane it, and keeps himself from doing evil.”
Isaiah 56:3 CJB

Today, we should really spend as much time as we can looking to Adonai on how we should live! His ways are always going to be easier and when we are walking in them it’s hard to do evil!

As we see the world rapidly falling apart around us, we should fervently be seeking Adonai! The most important thing we can be doing, as believers, is to be sharing about Adonai and His Salvation!

“However, from there you will seek Adonai your God; and you will find Him if you search after Him with all your heart and being.”

After each passing day, the time to call upon Adonai to be saved is quickly passing by! Time really is short and there is coming a day where calling upon Adonai will pass!

“I call on Adonai, who is worthy of praise; and I am saved from my enemies.”
Psalm 18:4 CJB

Today, if you haven’t called upon Adonai for salvation then today is the day to do so! If you haven’t shared about salvation with your neighbors, again, today is the day!

Nothing that is formed or made to go against God will succeed, no matter what it is! So because we belong to Him no weapon against us will succeed also!

Not only do we belong to Adonai, He has also perfectly made us for His glorious purposes! So what do we have to fear? Nothing!

“Haven’t I ordered you, ‘Be strong, be bold’? So don’t be afraid or downhearted, because Adonai your God is with you wherever you go.”

Like Joshua, we need to be strong and realize there is nothing anyone can make or do that will destroy you! Adonai has us in His hands and will take care of us in everything!
