“‘They will be carried to Bavel; and there they stay until the day I remember them, bring them back and restore them to this place,’ says Adonai.”

Here we see, along with all the prominent leaders, all the Temple vessels will be carried away to Babylon because of Israel’s refusal to repent and turn from their wicked ways! The good news is, once all corrections were made, God restores all that belongs to Him and brings them back to Israel! He does the same for us when we repent!

“God, restore us! Make Your face shine, and we will be saved.”
Psalm 80:3 CJB

How does restoration happen? It’s when we repent, come back to our senses, and walk with God in all His ways!

“This is the day Adonai has made, a day for us to rejoice and be glad.”
Psalm 118:24 CJB

Today, is always the perfect day to repent and turn all over to God and be restored! Every day that we walk in the Salvation given to us through Yeshua is a day to rejoice! So even though we may be walking through a desert, feeling like a captive, remember God always restores His people!

“Therefore now, improve your ways and your doings; and listen to the voice of Adonai your God; then Adonai will relent from disaster He has decreed against you.”

God wants what is best for us! The best thing that we can do is simply follow Adonai by just doing what His word says!

“I treasure Your word in my heart, so that I won’t sin against You.”
Psalm 119:11 CJB

Following the word of God is the easiest thing that we can do! Just read it, take it in and do it!

“Don’t deceive yourselves by only hearing what the Word says, but do it.”
James 1:22 CJB

Today, the best thing we can do is follow hard after Adonai!

This message hasn’t changed. Repent and turn from your wicked ways and Adonai will forgive, giving us eternal life with Him!

“Don’t follow other gods by serving and worshipping them. Don’t provoke My anger with things your own hands have made; then I will do you no harm.”
Jeremiah 25:6 CJB

God really does know what is best for us and we should really take the time to heed His word and warnings about sinning! Be careful of worshipping things made with human hands!

“You are to follow the entire way which Adonai your God has ordered you; so that you will live, things will go well with you, and you will live long in the land you are about to possess.”
Deuteronomy 5:30 verse 33 in other translations

If you want to possess a Spirit—filled life, then walk in the ways of Adonai!

“‘I will look after them for their good, I will bring them back to this land; I will build them up and not tear them down, plant them and not pull them up. I will give them a heart to know Me that I am Adonai. They will be My people, and I will be their God; for they will return to Me with all their heart.'”

I love what God is saying here, even though you’ve been disobedient towards Me, you will go into captivity and be punished, but I will look after you and protect you! Then when they return to walking with Adonai, He will bring them back! Remember, when we go astray, God will always hear us when we call!

“The eyes of Adonai watch over the righteous, and His ears are open to their cry.”
Psalm 34:15 CJB

God is always watching over us and He is always listening for people to call upon Him!

“But I will call on God, and Adonai will save me.”
Psalm 55:16 CJB

We need to be believers who pray about anything and everything! We also need to be good with God correcting us, knowing He will restore us every time!

“If a prophet has a dream, let him tell it as a dream. But if someone who has My word should speak faithfully. What do chaff and wheat have in common? asks Adonai.”

Even though God has and does speak through dreams, we need to be careful of relying upon the dream and not the Word of God! If someone comes to you with a dream not backed by the Word of God then it’s just chaff or dust!

“Isn’t My word like fire, asks Adonai, like a hammer shattering rocks?”
Jeremiah 23:29 CJB

Reading and relying on the word of God is always going to be better for us! His Word keeps us on the straight and narrow and also helps us to navigate life and keeps us from falling for falsehoods and false teachers!

“Your word is a lamp for my foot and light on my path.”
Psalm 119:105 CJB

Notice it doesn’t say your dreams or your teachers, but it says Your Word! Everything needs to go through the filter of the word of God, before we jump on the band wagon of what people say!
