Walk with God
“Adonai-Tzva’ot (LORD of Hosts) says: ‘I will break ‘Eilam’s bow, the mainstay of their might.”

The Elamites were skilled archers, so what God is saying here is no matter how much skill we have, it is still no match for Him! We will always be better off walking with Him and in His ways!
“Only take great care to obey the mitzvah (commandments) and the Torah (instruction) which Moshe the servant of Adonai gave you-to love Adonai your God, follow all His ways, observe His mitzvot, cling to Him, and serve Him with all your heart and being.”

No matter where we are, in a good environment or a bad one, we will always do well following and keeping the ways of Adonai!

Understand, when we walk with Adonai and in His ways, we will always be better off! Life is full of many ups and downs, but with Adonai we will always be better off!

Trust God alone!

What a warning, which also is relevant for us today! What do we trust in? Anything other than God is useless! At the end of the day, your gold, health or political leaders are not going to save you! Only God can!
“If it seems bad to you to serve Adonai, then choose today whom you are going to serve! Will it be the gods your ancestors served beyond the River? or the gods of the Emori in whose land you are living? As for me and my household, we will serve Adonai!”

K’mosh or Chemosh was the leading god in Moab, another statue made by human hands with no power at all, just like every other false god! We have the same gods today: health, wealth and politics, which will all lead you astray! We all need to heed the warnings here in the Word of God! Trust only in Him!

Stay alert!
“Here is what Adonai says: ‘Water is rising out of the north; it will become a flooding stream, flooding the land and all that is in it, the city and its inhabitants. The people are crying out in alarm, everyone in the land is weeping.”

We read in Jeremiah over and over how Adonai warns the people to repent and get it together, but still they wouldn’t listen! Now that the water is rising, the people are weeping and it’s too late, they start crying out! We need to be watching for and listening to Adonai! Don’t wait until it’s too late!
“Stay alert! Be on your guard! For you do not know when the time will come.”

Understand, only God knows the day and the hour, but He has given us signs and clues of His soon coming! We just need be alert and watching!

God forgives

God does let us be punished by our own foolishness and sin, but He never lets us be completely destroyed, He will save us!

Understand, even if we think we are getting away with something, we are not! But realize when we repent He forgives! So when you blow it, just simply confess and return to walking with Adonai!
“What, then does it say? The Word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart. -that is, the Word about trust which we proclaim, namely, that if you acknowledge publicly with your mouth that Yeshua is LORD and trust in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be delivered.”

Today, know if you blow it, God has His hand on you and all you have to do is confess, repent and He forgives!
