Don’t give into the world!

‘Daniel answered the king, Keep your gifts, and give your rewards to someone else. However, I will read the inscription to the king and tell him what it means.’
Daniel 5:17 CJB

We need to be like Daniel here, bold and unafraid of the world! Do what God has called you to do and tell the world to keep its gifts and bribes!

“Adonai, the king finds joy in your strength; what great joy he displays in your victory.”
Psalm 21:1 CJB

We too, can have great victory in Adonai when we just do things His way! The gifts of God are far greater and more rewarding than anything we can ever imagine!

“Adonai is high above all nations, His glory above the heavens.”
Psalm 113:4 CJB

When we put God above all and look to Him for all our needs, we will never be let down!
Have a blessed day glorifying Adonai!

Glorify God

‘All who live on earth are counted as nothing. He does what He wishes with the army of heaven and with those living on earth. No one can hold back His hand or ask Him, What are you doing?”
Daniel 4:32 CJB

We need to be accepting the will of Adonai, instead of questioning and complaining! The quicker we look to see things His way, the easier we will be able to navigate life!

“Yours, Adonai, is the greatness, the power, the glory, the victory and the majesty; for everything in Heaven and on Earth is Yours. The kingdom is Yours, Adonai; and You are exalted as head over all.”
1 Chronicles 29:11 CJB

Again, we see in scripture that all things are created by Adonai and for Adonai, including us! So let’s glorify Him!

“Proclaim with me the greatness of Adonai; let us exalt His name together.”
Psalm 34:3 CJB

What a great invitation for us all to realize God made us to exalt and glorify Him!
Let’s have a blessed day proclaiming the goodness of Adonai!

God gives all!

“I thank and praise you, God of my ancestors, for giving me wisdom and power, and revealing to me what we wanted from you, for giving us the answer for the king.”
Daniel 2:23 CJB

Do we thank God for all our wisdom, skills and discernments? Do we give Him the glory for everything, even the stuff we may not like? Everything comes from Adonai so let’s praise His name in everything!

“Every good act of giving and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father who made the heavenly lights; with Him there is neither variation nor darkness caused by turning.”
James 1:17 CJB

Everything no matter what comes from the Father! Even bad things or obstacles can be placed in our way to redirect us on to Adonai’s perfect path! So let’s give Him thanks in all things!

“Let everything that has breath praise Adonai! Hallelujah!”
Psalm 150:6 CJB

Today, let’s be about giving God the glory for everything!
May your day be richly blessed!

Follow after God

“They were to be boys without physical defect, handsome in appearance, versed in all kinds of wisdom, quick to learn, discerning, and having the capacity to serve in the king’s palace; and he was to teach them the language and literature of the Kasdim (Chaldeans).”
Daniel 1:4 CJB

Sounds like our college campus today! We send of our young who are eager to learn and the professors twist them deniers of the truth! Things are not much different than the pagan days of old! The world around us is very much controlled by Satan and it takes the young and twists them! God, desires us to follow after Him!

“So now, Israel, all that Adonai your God asks from you is to fear Adonai your God, follow his ways, love Him and serve Adonai your God, follow all His ways, love Him and serve Adonai your God with all your heart and all your being.”
Deuteronomy 10:12 CJB

We need to be like Daniel and the boys, refusing Satan’s (the king’s) delicacies, which are meant for evil! Satan is always trying to be worshipped and followed like God, so he puts and dangles evil desires in front of men! What do we do? Refuse it, fear living without God, follow His ways and serve Him! God desires us to follow His perfect plan!

“Fot I know what plans I have in mind for you,’ says Adonai,’ plans for well-being, not for bad things; so that you can have hope and a future.”
Jeremiah 29:11 CJB

God, knows what we are going through, but realize He has a perfect plan for us! No matter what may be going on around us, know God has a perfect plan!
Have a blessed day being like Daniel, refusing the delicacies of the world!
