Trust

“All this happened in order to fulfill what Adonai had said through the prophet, The virgin will conceive and bear a son, and they will cal Him `Immanu El. (The name means, God is with us.)”
Matthew 1:22-23 CJB

One of the things we should see here is that Mary and Joseph were going through a major situation, a virgin bride to be is pregnant! They could have done all kinds of things to remedy the situation, but instead did not allow the situation to dictate their future, instead they trusted God! The same goes for us. We may be in a situation that God has allowed, don’t look for the easy way out, but trust in God instead!

“For My thoughts are not your thoughts, and your ways are not My ways, says Adonai.”
Isaiah 55:8 CJB

God’s ways are always so different from ours, we always get caught up on what we can see or feel! God wants us to trust!

“For we live by trust, not what we see.”
2 Corinthians 5:7 CJB

Don’t get caught up in what we see, but instead get caught up in trusting Adonai!
Have a blessed day in trusting in Him!

Clear the way for Adonai

“Look! I am sending my messenger to clear the way before Me; and the LORD, whom you seek, will suddenly come to His temple. Yes, the messenger of the covenant, in whom you take such delight-look! Here He comes, says Adonai-Tzva’ot.”
Malachi 3:1 CJB

Messengers were always deployed to prepare the way for kings and conquerers! God has used prophets of old to warn and prepare the way for Messiah! We’ve been warned!

“A voice cries out: Clear a road through the desert for Adonai! Level a highway in the `Aravah (highway) for our God!”
Isaiah 40:3 CJB

This is speaking of Elijah and all four Gospels use this verse, speaking of John the Baptist! This should encourage us to share the Good News of Salvation in the deserts of the world, warning the people that the King (Yeshua) is coming!

“But you are a chosen people, the King’s Cohanim, a holy nation, a people for God to possess! Why? In order for you to declare the praises of the One who called you out of darkness into His wonderful light.”
1 Peter 2:9 CJB also found in Deuteronomy 7:6-8

How amazing that God Himself has chosen us and has set us apart for Himself, to declare His way of Salvation, through repentance and declaring Yeshua as LORD and Savior!
Have a blessed day in Him!

Follow God

“Therefore I have in turn made you contemptible and vile before all the people, because you did not keep my ways but were partial in applying the Torah.”
Malachi 2:9 CJB

When we make a departure from following the Word of God, disaster is sure to follow! This is what happened in Malachi’s day and in fact every disaster that has come upon Israel and us can be attributed to not following the Word of God!

“I treasure Your word in my heart, so that I won’t sin against You.”
Psalm 119:11 CJB

When we are in the Word of God, studying it, keeping it and living by it, life will always be better!

“For loving God means obeying His commands. Moreover , His commands are not burdensome, because everything which has God as its Father overcomes the world. And this is what victoriously overcomes the world: our trust.”
1 John 5:3-4 CJB

We need to follow the Word of God in all aspects of our lives to have a life filled with blessings and less controversy and difficulty!
Have a blessed day!

Magnify Adonai

“You will see it and say, ‘Adonai is great, even beyond the borders of Israel.'”
Malachi 1:5 CJB

One day everyone, everywhere will see and say Adonai is great!

“In the name of Myself I have sworn, from my mouth has rightly gone out, a word will not return-that to Me every knee will bow and every tongue swear.”
Isaiah 45:23 CJB also found in Romans 14:11 and Philippians 2:10

This day is fast approaching, but for us we already know Adonai is great and greatly to be praised and we should be doing this every chance we get!

“Proclaim with me the greatness of Adonai; let us exalt His name together.”
Psalm 34:3 CJB

What a great invitation to proclaim the greatness of Adonai, which we get to do everyday!
Have a blessed day proclaiming the greatness of Adonai!
Shabbat Shalom!
