What God is saying that He has allowed Assyria to strike at Israel here and there and cause destruction to see if the people will wake up and follow Him! He does the same to us today, hoping people will wake up!

Yes, God does allow the Adversary to attack us, remember all he can do is roar! We just need to know who we can always count on to rescue and save us! Yeshua is always there to save, we just need to call onto Him!

“God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble.”

We can and do have problems and attacks in life, but God is bigger than our problems!

If we think that God is only speaking about Israel, then we must think again! He is speaking to all of us, because He has brought us all out of the land of Egypt (the world)! We have all sinned against God, we just need to be honest about it! Also we need to be real careful of pointing out other people’s sin and look at our own instead!

“He sounds a warning in their ears and orders them to repent of their evil.”

God is warning and has been warning us! We just need to hear Him, and then share the Good News of Salvation, so others can repent and receive it also!

“Therefore, repent and turn to God, so that your sins may be erased.”

Today, hear the warnings, repent and be saved, then go out and share!

Any time we look to the world and all its foolish trappings, distractions and deceptions, we will always be lost! When we do, we will find ourselves trying to go up against God! Remember, even the bravest warriors find that foolish!

The sad thing is man makes gods out of everything! Our problems, our health, and even our leaders!

Today, know that there is nothing that can come against God and win! So let’s be all about serving and worshipping Him and being on His side!

The point God is making here that Syria has committed so many crimes against God and His people that judgment is coming no matter what! Realize God is always watching over us!

“For Adonai watches over the way of the righteous, but the way of the wicked is doomed.”

God, really does watch over us and protects us and one day will deal with the unrighteous!

“I said to myself, The righteous and the wicked God will judge, because there is a right time for every intention and for every action.”

We need to take comfort in the fact that God will deal with sin and sinners! We don’t need to worry, just look to Adonai and walk in His Salvation!

“Such enormous crowds in the Valley of decision! For the Day of Adonai is upon us in the Valley of Decision!”

We need to understand that life is full of decisions! To buy a house, to quit a job, to move or go to school, to name a few! Some decisions are life changing and some are just daily choices, but we still need to make them! The biggest decision any human can make is whether to follow God or deny Him!

“Eliyahu stepped forward before all the people and said, How long are you going to jump back and forth between two positions? If Adonai is God, follow Him; but if it’s Ba`al, follow him! The people answered him not a word.”

We can’t falter between two opinions! We either choose to follow God or the world! We need to make that decision here and now!

“No one can be slave to two masters; for he will either hate the first and love the second, or scorn the second and be loyal to the first. You can’t be a slave to God and money.”

Today, I hope and pray that we can make the decision to follow God, not the world and its disgusting practices!
