Serve Adonai

“At once they left their nets and followed Him.”
Mark 1:18 CJB

What do we leave in order to follow Adonai? Or do we hold on to all our junk? We need to learn to let go and let Yeshua take over!

“Desist, and learn that I am God, supreme over the nations, supreme over the earth.”
Psalm 46:10 CJB

The Hebrew word for be still or desist is Rafah, which means drop it, let it go! The sad thing is we want to hold on to things our past, our dislikes, and our grudges! God says just simply let it go and move on and follow Yeshua!

“If it seems bad to you to serve Adonai, then choose today whom you are going to serve! Will it be the gods your ancestors served beyond the River? or the gods of the Emori, in whose land you are living? As for me and my household, we will serve Adonai!”
Joshua 24:15 CJB

Yes, we live in a godless world, but we need to drop the ungodliness of this world and follow hard after Adonai, serving Him and walking in His ways, not getting in His ways!
Have a blessed day dropping things of the world and serve Adonai instead!

God can revive us!

“He is not here, because He has been raised-just as He said! Come and look at the place where He lay.”
Matthew 28:6 CJB

This is so like the world today! Looking for life among dead things! Yeshua is alive and well and so can we be if we look for the living instead of the dead! How? In Adonai!

“You (Adonai) make me know the path of LIFE; in Your presence is unbounded joy, in Your right hand eternal delight.”
Psalm 16:11 CJB

If you feel like you’re a little dead inside or just not full of the life that you used to have in Yeshua, then dig into His word (which is life), call onto Him to restore the joy you used to have!

“Restore my joy in Your salvation, and let a willing spirit uphold me.”
Psalm 51:14 CJB

Today, if you feel a bit lost call on Adonai to restore your joy in His salvation!

“See how I love your precepts, Adonai; in keeping with Your grace, revive me.”
Psalm 119:159 CJB

If we need to be revived, the best way is to get into the word of God and pray for revival!
Have a blessed day being revived by Adonai!

Serve Adonai

“Which of the two do you want me to set free for you? asked the governor. Bar-Abba! they answered.”
Matthew 27:21 CJB

The same question is asked of us too! Who do we want, the son of the world or the Son of God? The sad thing is people choose the world over God!

“If it seems bad to you to serve Adonai, then choose today whom you are going to serve! Will it be the gods your ancestors served beyond the River? or the gods of the Emori, in whose land you are living? As for me and my household, we will serve Adonai!”
Joshua 24:15 CJB

Ask yourself what profit is it to serve the gods of this world? When you die every material thing you built in the world will be left behind, but when we choose to serve Adonai it will be waiting in the Kingdom!

“Serve Adonai with gladness. Enter His presence with joyful songs.”
Psalm 100:2 CJB

Realize when we serve Adonai there will always be joy, especially when we enter into His presence!
Have a blessed day living for Adonai!

Be humble

“Even if I must die with you, Kefa replied, I will never disown you! And all the talmidim (disciples) said the same thing.”
Matthew 26:35 CJB

We all need to be careful of making statements that we can’t keep or back up! Remember, Peter denies even knowing Yeshua in the next few verses! We all can be bold, until it hits the fan!

“The proud will be humbled, but the humble will be honored.”
Proverbs 29:23 CJB

Often times we may think we are more than what we really are! We are all sinners who are in desperate need of a Savior, so be humble!

“Therefore, let anyone who thinks he is standing up be careful not to fall!”
1 Corinthians 10:12 CJB

Understand to really stand up in life we really need to be leaning on Yeshua for strength!
Have a blessed day leaning on Adonai!
Shabbat Shalom!
