Trust and commit

“I was going down to the bottoms of the mountains, to a land whose bars would close me in forever; but you brought me up alive from the pit, Adonai, my God!”
Jonah 2:7 CJB

Even after we blow it, all we have to do is simply call out to Adonai to be saved! He always hears us when we call in sincerity!

“I call on Adonai, who is worthy of praise; and I am saved from my enemies.”
Psalm 18:4 CJB

Know that we have a God who is always waiting for us to call upon Him and willing and able to give us a way of escape! We just need to trust!

“Commit your way to Adonai; trust in Him, and He will act.”
Psalm 37:5 CJB

Are we committing our lives to Adonai in everything? Are we trusting in His ways, no matter how they may look? These are good questions to ask yourself! If not, today, is the day to commit and trust in Adonai! He will never let you down!
Have a blessed day!
Shabbat Shalom!

Cling to Adonai

“At this time the men grew very afraid and said to him, What is this that you have done? For the men knew he was trying to get away from Adonai, since he had told them.”
Jonah 1:10 CJB

Like Jonah, are we trying to get away from God? Ignoring what God tells us to do and try to do our own thing? Understand running from God never works!

“You are to follow Adonai your God, fear Him, obey His mitzvot (commands), listen to what He says, serve Him and cling to Him.”
Deuteronomy 13:5 Verse 4 in other translations.

The best thing we can do in life is to cling to Adonai, knowing He has a firm grip on us!

“I cling to Your instruction; Adonai, don’t let me be put to shame!”
Psalm 119:31 CJB

When we walk close to Adonai and follow His ways, we won’t fall into bellys of big fish (worldly stinky messes)! Instead we will always have better days when we cling to Adonai!
Have a blessed day!
Shabbat Shalom!

Don’t be prideful

‘If you make your nest as high as an eagle’s, even if you place it among the stars, I will bring you down from there. says Adonai.”
Obadiah 1:4 CJB

Understand, pride can be one of the worst things in our lives! Pride can and does get us in all kinds of trouble!

“Pride goes before destruction, and arrogance before failure.”
Proverbs 16:18 CJB

Anytime we think or try to be better than other people, it usually leads to disastrous situations! We all need to be careful of lifting ourselves up! Lift Yeshua up instead!

“The greatest among you must be your servant, for whoever promotes himself will be humbled, and whoever humbles himself will be promoted.”
Matthew 23:11-12 CJB

The bottom line if you want to be great, then become a servant!
Have a blessed day serving Adonai and all who you come in contact with!

Are you ready?

“All the sinners among my people who say, ‘Disaster will never overtake us or confront us,’ will die by the sword.”
Amos 9:10 CJB

Just like Israel, there is a belief today, that disaster will never confront us or even be an issue until it happens! Most believers sadly have a delusion that God will never judge us or punish us! Be careful of that kind of thinking, that God will just let evil and sin just to continue!

“Don’t delude yourselves: no one makes a fool of God! A person reaps what he sows.”
Galatians 6:7 CJB

We all need to be careful of thinking that the Day of Adonai is some kind of fantasy, it’s real and it’s really going to happen!

“For God will bring to judgment everything we do, including every secret, whether good or bad.”
Ecclesiastes 12:14 CJB

Today, realize that The Day of Adonai is coming, judgment will happen! The question we need to ask is are we ready!
Have a blessed day seeking God!

God has a way!

“People will stagger from sea to sea and from north to east, running back and forth, seeking the word of Adonai; but they will not find it.”
Amos 8:12 CJB

The reason the people won’t find God or His word is because they’ve rejected it already! We see it everywhere: hard hearts, distracted people and shallowness! This is the world today, completely rejecting God, then when they actually realize how much they need Him, it might be too late!

“Next, they rejected the beautiful land, they didn’t trust His promise.”
Psalm 106:24 CJB

People complain about all the good things that Adonai has given as if it isn’t enough! The thing is, if God only gave us salvation and nothing else, it should be enough that we don’t have to spend eternity in Hell! So don’t reject God, look to Him for everything!

“Adonai is good to those waiting for Him, to those who are seeking Him out.”
Lamentations 3:25 CJB

Even though God can seem harsh and His ways not what we think they should be, but when we wait on Him, understand His mercy and grace is far greater than anything we could ever imagine!
Be patient and wait upon Adonai today!
