“Asa did what was good and right from the perspective of Adonai his God; for he removed the foreign altars and high places, smashing the standing-stones and chopping down the sacred poles.”
2 Chronicles 14:1-2 CJB
Are we doing life from God’s perspective or our own? Are we removing the foreign altars that are distracting us? If not, we need to get right with God and remove the junk!
“You are to follow Adonai your God, fear Him, obey His mitzvot (commands), listen to what He says, serve Him and cling to Him.”
Deuteronomy 13:5 CJB
The idea of following God here isn’t to fear Him, it’s to fear walking through life without Him! When we are walking and doing life the way God commands us to through His word, we have nothing to fear! We should be clinging to Him in everything!
“Don’t deceive yourselves by only hearing what the Word says, but do it!”
James 1:22 CJB
Today, let’s be all about doing everything the way God shows us! Hearing His words and doing them!
Have a blessed day walking with God!
Shabbat Shalom!
