As we see the hostility towards believers happening around us, we need to understand it isn’t really directed towards us, it’s directed at the LORD! We just happen to be in the way!
“If you belonged to the world, the world would have loved its own. But because you do not belong to the world-on the contrary, I have picked you out of the world-therefore the world hates you.”

Because we belong to the LORD and we are His children, we should feel extremely uncomfortable in the world because the world has an extreme hatred towards Yeshua and His followers!
“Remember what I told you, A slave is not greater than his master. If they persecuted Me, they will persecute you too; if they kept My word, they will keep yours too.”

What Yeshua is getting at here is the world is hostile towards Him! So we shouldn’t be surprised when it’s hostile towards us! Also if you are in the world and feel comfortable in it, be careful! May your day be richly blessed in the LORD, remember this world is not our home!
