We have heard that in the kingdom to come, the word says the opposite; beat your swords and spears into plows! But we are not living in the kingdom yet! We do live in a world full of darkness, anger and violence, just turn the news on for five minutes.
“Therefore you also be ready, for the Son of Man is coming at an hour you do not expect.”
Matthew 24:44 and Luke 12:40
We don’t know when the LORD is coming, but we do know the times we are living in!
“Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil; Who put darkness for light, and light for darkness; Who put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!”
Isaiah 5:20
What are we to do? We need to study His word, share His word and reflect His light!
“But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light.”
1 Peter 2:9
