“Ho! Everyone who thirsts, Come to the waters; And you who have no money, Come, buy and eat. Yes, Come, buy wine and milk Without money and without price.” Isaiah 55:1
Today everything costs us, even water has a price! What the LORD is saying here I know you thirst, but in me there is no price! I PAID IT!
“On the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried out, saying, If anyone thirst, let him come to Me and drink.” John 7:37
In other words Jesus has everything we need! In the world we will always be left unsatisfied and wanting! In the LORD we will always be filled!
“Incline your ear, and come to Me. Hear, and your soul shall live; And I will make an everlasting covenant with you – The sure mercies of David.” Isaiah 55:3
Think of it this way God was merciful to David, so He will surely be merciful to you and I. The Bible explains who David was a liar, a adulterer and a murderer, and he was still given mercy!
