Get caught up in the LORD!

“But now, do not therefore be grieved or angry with yourselves because you sold me here; God sent me before you to preserve life.” Genesis 45:5

Here we see that it can be real easy to focus on the problems of life; relational, vocational, financial and health problems that come up! Instead let us focus on the LORD who knows how every situation is going to workout!

“But as for you, you meant evil against me; but God meant it for good, in order to bring it about as it is this day, to save many people alive.” Genesis 50:20

Today let us just focus on the LORD, not the obstacles that are around us, instead look at obstacles as guides to get us where the LORD wants us to be! Don’t get caught up in what other people believe or do, but get caught up in the LORD and walk in His ways!

“And my soul shall be joyful in the LORD; It shall rejoice in His salvation.” Psalm 35:9

Realize every situation in life is ordained by the LORD, so don’t waste your time trying to work things out on your own. Instead spend that time just simply seeking and worshipping the LORD, it’s always going to be time well spent! Have a blessed day in Him!

Don’t focus on your mess, look to the LORD instead!

“Now therefore, please let your servant remain instead of the lad as a slave to my lord, and let the lad go up with his brothers.”

Genesis 44:33

Here we see Judah ready to give up his own life for Benjamin’s to somehow pay for all their mistakes! We all can look back at our lives and see all the mistakes we’ve made and would like to go back and correct them, to make things right! Realize even in our mistakes the LORD is leading us!

“Even there Your hand shall lead me, And Your right hand shall hold me.” Psalm 139:10

Often times our mistakes can lead us to the right place, right where the LORD wants us to be, right to the place where He can use us for His purposes! Our mistakes usually lead us to a mess, but our messes the LORD somehow uses for His glory!

“The LORD is good, A stronghold in the day of trouble; And He knows those who trust in Him.” Nahum 1:7

So today instead of looking at our mess and be in distress, look to the LORD and trust Him. Watch how He can take your mess and somehow bless! Just keep your eyes on the LORD not your messy situation whether it’s your fault or not! Have a blessed day in the LORD!

Every situation comes to a end!

“Then Jesus answered and said, O faithless and perverse generation, how long shall I be with you? How long shall I bear with you? Bring him here to ME.” Matthew 17:17

Here Jesus and the guys just came back from the transfiguration experience and this man brings his epileptic son to be healed and the disciples can’t do it! But Jesus can and does!

“Immediately the father of the child cried out and said with tears, Lord, I believe; help my unbelief.” Mark 9:24

I know like me we believe in the LORD, but we all get into situations where things look so dire we feel the LORD either forgot us or just can’t get us out of this situation! Don’t fall into that trap of unbelief, nothing is impossible for the LORD! Realize every situation comes to a end!

“And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose.” Romans 8:28

So for us today know this, you are called by God, He has a purpose for you even if you don’t see it now! So just love the LORD, knowing it’s all going to work out! Remember everything comes to a end, then we will be with Him for eternity! Have a blessed day in Him!

Shabbat Shalom

“When Jesus came into the region of Caesarea Philippi, He asked His disciples, saying, Who do men say that I, the Son of Man, am?” Matthew 16:13

Its a good question for today, who do men say that I am? The world has so many different views some good and some bad!

“He said to them, But who do you say that I am?”

Matthew 16:15

This is a better question for us because its more personal! It’s easy to give the intellectual answer, but here its either LORD and Savior or just a good wise man! Who is the LORD to you, spend some time with Him today and see! We all have to answer who Jesus is!

“For I know that the LORD is great, And our LORD is above all gods.” Psalm 135:5

Today let us really put the LORD above all things, knowing that He alone can and does all things! He is the answer to everything that comes up in life! Make the LORD the center of everything today! Shabbat Shalom!

Believers beware and be on guard!

“Then Jesus said to them, Take heed and beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and the Sadducees.” Matthew 16:6

We need to heed the same warning today! There are so many teachers out there sharing all kinds of views on the bible and God! Believers beware and be on guard! HOW? Study!

“Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.” 2 Timothy 2:15

We can’t be lazy when it comes to the word of God, we need to open our bibles and get into His word and study! Have devotions, check scripture to make sure things that are said are true! Be students with a thirst for the word of God!

“And you will seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart.” Jeremiah 29:13

So today take time to seek out the LORD!

“For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine, but according to their own desires, because they have itching ears, they will heap up for themselves teachers.”

2 Timothy 4:3

Reading a devotional post is good, listening to a message is great and going to a bible study is awesome, But nothing beats opening up your bible, praying and seeking the LORD having personal time with Him. Today spend some time with the LORD and have a blessed day!
