“And they called to Lot and said to him, Where are the men who came to you tonight? Bring them out to us that we may know them carnally.” Genesis 19:5

The big question I see here is; How did we get to this? How is it that these men would want to molest these strangers at Lot’s house? The answer is quit simple, when we slowly allow the world to enter our homes, and start justifying its presents.

“Do not despise prophecies. Test all things; hold fast what is good. Abstain from every form of evil.”

1 Thessalonians 5:20 – 21

We need to be people who study our bibles, test and check what we are doing with the word of God and stay away from things that the word of God calls evil! Always knowing that our LORD is faithful to forgive us when we fail!

“Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits, whether they are of God; because many false prophets have gone out into the world.” 1 John 4:1

Today let us be checking the word to be sure what we are doing is of the LORD! That way we don’t wake up and ask how did I get here! Have a blessed day knowing that our LORD is always faithful and just to forgive, have a blessed day!

“For I have known him, in order that he may command his children and His household after him, that they keep the way of the LORD, to do righteousness and justice, that the LORD may bring Abraham what He has spoken to him.” Genesis 18:19

Like Abraham the LORD wants to speak to us, and what He speaks to us He wants us to do and teach our children so they can walk in His ways to! Today we teach our children how to fish, hunt, play sports and how to be successful! But instructing them in the word of the LORD is not a big priority!

“Train up a child in the way he should go, And when he is old he will not depart from it.” Proverbs 22:6

Not just training and teaching your children, we must also be studying learning and doing what the LORD instructs us to do also! Spending time in His word, and spending time with the LORD isn’t a five minute prayer in the morning! It needs to be a continuous all day devotion!

“I will delight myself in Your statues; I will not forget Your word. Deal bountifully with Your servant, That I may live and keep Your word.” Psalm 119:16-17

The LORD wants to speak with us and give us insights, so spend time with Him today! Instruct your kids and encourage your friends and family in the love of the LORD! Have a blessed day.

“Fear not, for I am with you; Be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, Yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.” Isaiah 41:10

We have all kinds of problems and issues in life way to many to name! What we need to realize is, compared to the LORD they are nothing!

“You shall seek them and not find them – Those who contend with you. Those who war against you Shall be as nothing, As a nonexistent thing.” Isaiah 41:12

Don’t get caught up focusing on your problems or your situations you are going through! Often times we can look to banks, loans, insurances and professionals for help! In every situation we must seek the LORD first, He is our only real hope.

“For I, the LORD your God, will hold your right hand, Saying to you, Fear not, I will help you.” Isaiah 41:13

Today realize the LORD is holding our hand, and is helping us through every situation! So look to Him, call on Him and just trust Him! Have a blessed day!

“The Angel of the LORD said to her, Return to your mistress, and submit yourself under her hand.” Genesis 16:9

The LORD says the same to us simply submit unto Him. Follow His instruction and direction, with that life will always be easier.

“Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you.” James 4:7

A amazing thing happens when we submit unto the LORD, and trust Him and not our own understanding. Things always seem to work out when we step out in faith and trust the LORD.

“For we walk by faith, not by sight.” 2 Corinthians 5:7

Let us submit unto the LORD today and walk in faith, trusting He has it all worked out! Have a blessed day.

“And he believed in the LORD, and He accounted it to him for righteousness.” Genesis 15:6

We all from time to time have moments of unbelief, were we have doubts that the LORD is there. Here the word makes it real simple all we have to do is believe!

“Immediately the father of the child cried out and said with tears, LORD, I believe; help my unbelief.” Mark 9:24

If we are having doubts moments of unbelief all we have to do is call upon the LORD, and He is there to help us!

“Save, LORD! May the King answer us when we call.”

Psalm 20:9

So today no matter what is going on, just simply call on the LORD and believe He is hearing and working things out! Have a blessed day.
