“Then the disciples came to Him and awoke Him, saying, LORD save us! We are perishing! But He said to them, Why are you fearful, O you of little faith? Then He arose and Rebuked the winds and the sea, and there was great calm.”

Matthew 8:25-26

We do the same thing today, the storms hit we become overwhelmed, and we cry the same thing, ‘LORD we are perishing don’t you care’. Realize the storms of life give us opportunity to call to the LORD, trust in the LORD and wait and see how the LORD gets you through!

“Fear not, for I am with you; Be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, Yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.” Isaiah 41:10

While we are in the midst of the waves and the storms of life, its easy to think the LORD has somehow forgotten you. All you have to do is look back to past storms big or small, and remember the LORD got you through them and He’ll get you through the ones your in now!

“And I am sure of this: that the One who began a good work among you will keep it growing until it is completed on the Day of the Messiah Yeshua.”Philippians 1:6 CJB

So no matter what you maybe going through today, remember the LORD is right there with you! Just keep calling on Him and trusting He’ll get you through. Have a blessed day.

“And behold, a leper came and worshiped Him, saying LORD, if You are willing, You can make me clean.” Matthew 8:2

This leper comes to Jesus and doesn’t ask can you heal me, but you can heal me! He believes the LORD can, but doesn’t demand the LORD to do!

“Then Jesus put out His hand and touched him saying, I am willing; be cleansed. Immediately his leprosy was cleansed.”

Matthew 8:3

Understand the LORD can answer and complete any request we make of Him; But is it the LORD’s will? We often pray or demand the LORD to do this or do that and finish with in Jesus name amen! In Jesus name means HIS WILL BE DONE! The LORD is always willing to bless us, but always knows what’s best for us!

“For My thoughts are not your thoughts, Nor are your ways My ways, says the LORD.” Isaiah 55:8

As we are calling on the LORD to heal or deal with our situations, be encouraged He is working it out His way, because He is willing! Our prayer needs to be in all things His will be done and LORD help me to be good with your will!

“For as the heavens are higher than the earth, So are My ways higher than your ways, And My thoughts than your thoughts.”

Isaiah 55:9

Have a blessed day calling on the LORD, knowing He is willing, and His way is always going to be the best way!

“And he said to them, Do not hinder me, since the LORD has prospered my way; send me away so that I may go to my master.” Genesis 24:56

Often times the LORD will give us something specific to do and when its done we just stay, instead of move on! We need to do what the LORD says and go when He says go!

“Then He said to them, Follow Me, and I will make you fishers of men.” Matthew 4:19

When we hear the call of the LORD, we need to drop all and follow, be careful of lingering or going back to our old ways! We may see the next step is impossible or even overwhelming, but with the LORD all things are possible!

“For we walk by faith, not by sight.” 2 Corinthians 5:7

Don’t look at the situations surrounding you, but instead look to the LORD! Step out and go to the Master, follow Him! If things look impossible, don’t give up and go back to your old ways! Don’t be hindered by your situation, take a step of faith and go to the LORD our Master! Have a blessed day!

“The man bowed down his head and worshiped the LORD. And he said, Blessed be the LORD God of my master Abraham, who has not forsaken His mercy and His truth toward my master. As for me, being on the way, the LORD led me to the house of my master’s brethren.” Genesis 24:26-27

Let us bow before the LORD, anticipating the great things He will do today! Our LORD has amazing things in store for us today and in our future!

“This is the day the LORD has made; We will rejoice and be glad in it.” Psalm 118:24

We often get caught up focusing on the problems of life, and lose sight of the promises and solutions the LORD has for us! Our LORD promised to never leave us or forsake us, He is always there no matter what! Place your hope in Him not the issues of the world!

“Through the LORD’s mercies we are not consumed, Because His compassions fail not. They are new every morning; Great is Your faithfulness.” Lamentations 3:22-23

We all have issues we are working through, some harder than others! Before we get into our day, let us bow before the LORD, Rejoice in a new day and know His mercies cover us! Have a blessed day!

“Then Abraham stood up from before his dead, and spoke to the sons of Heth, saying, I am a foreigner and a visitor among you. Give me property for a burial place among you, that I may bury my dead out of my sight.” Genesis 23:3-4

Death always makes things real, it shows us how short life really is! We may live forty, fifty, sixty or even a hundred years but that is a drop in the bucket in the annals of time. We come from the dust, so shall we return to the dust! So live for the LORD!

“All go to one place: all are from the dust, and all return to dust.” Ecclesiastes 3:20

Remember this world is not our permanent home, so our focus and our hope needs to be in the LORD!

“In My Father’s house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.”

John 14:2

Here we see Abraham is all about God, are we? He’s being a witness for the LORD using Sarah’s death to show we need to be separated from the world! As believers we should never fit in with worldliness! We need to be Holy (special) not ordinary, Sanctified – set apart!

“For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.” Matthew 6:21

Let us make our lives count for the LORD today, not the world! We all have just a short time here on earth so lets make it count, knowing that ten out of ten are going to die and those of us who know the LORD, we will be with Him! So have a blessed day sharing the hope of heaven!
