Pour in more of the word and less of the world!

“For by your words you will be justified, and by your words you will be condemned.” Matthew 12:37

What we say is important, because often times what comes out of our mouths is what’s in our hearts! With that said let us check what’s in our heart!

“For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.” Romans 10:10

How do we change our heart or make sure good stuff is coming out? By pouring in the word of God!

“Anxiety in the heart of man causes depression, But a good word makes it glad.” Proverbs 12:25

So if we want good stuff to come from our mouths, lets be mindful of what we put in! If we are putting in worldly garbage like vulgar sitcoms, depressing news or ungodly music, don’t expect to be full of joy or have good words coming out of our mouths!

“He who heeds the word wisely will find good, And whoever trusts in the LORD, happy is he.” Proverbs 16:20

Today let us be pouring more of the word of the LORD in and less of the world! Have a blessed day.

Shabbat Shalom

“O Israel, return to the LORD your God, For you have stumbled because of your iniquity;” Hosea 14:1

We all have stumbled or have blown it at one time or the other! Maybe we have even stumbled today, The solution is and will always be call on the LORD!

“I will heal their backsliding, I will love them freely, For My anger has turned away from him.” Hosea 14:4

Today you might be feeling down, guilty, or even depressed, remember the LORD is just a prayer away, to hear you, forgive you and forget what ever it is you have done!

“Restore us , O God of hosts; Cause Your face to shine, And we shall be saved!” Psalm 80:3,7 and 19

No matter how bad we think we are, the LORD is there to hear and to save us! So today call upon His name, return to His ways and be restored! Have a blessed day Shabbat Shalom!

Happy Thanksgiving

“O Israel, you are destroyed, But your help is from Me.”

Hosea 13:9

Often times when life gets bad we can blame God, but really we can only blame ourselves! The good news is it is the LORD who gets us out of trouble, it is He who saves us!

“Oh, give thanks to the LORD, for He is good! For His mercy endures forever.” Psalm 107:1

Today we all have a lot to be thankful for, we are saved! With all the stupid things we say and do our LORD still forgives us! And that is something to be thankful for!

“Enter into His gates with thanksgiving, And into His courts with praise. Be thankful to Him, and bless His name.”

Psalm 100:4

Today let us look for things to be thankful for, instead of things to complain about! Most of all let us be thankful for the LORD and His salvation, have a blessed Thanksgiving!

“Be still and know the LORD is working it out.”

“Then the Angel of God spoke to me in a dream, saying, ‘Jacob.’ And I said, Here I am.” Genesis 31:11

The LORD see’s all the things going on in our lives, the good things and the bad things and He is providing a way out and a way to go! We just have to listen and seek His direction, Here I am!

“For this is God, Our God forever and ever; He will be our guide Even to death.” Psalm 48:14

We all from time to time feel like the whole world is pressing down upon us! Decisions, directions and choices have to be made and we have no clue what to do! Notice here Jacob is asleep!

“Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth!” Psalm 46:10

Maybe today you feel like life is pressing down on you and you have to do something! Take a deep breath and be still, and say LORD here I am! Then wait, be still and see what the LORD will do! Don’t be impatient remember Jacob was under Laban for twenty years before He heard from the LORD again! The LORD answers in His timing not yours or mine, so be still! Have a blessed day!

The LORD knows your situation and has it covered!

“Then God remembered Rachel, and God listened to her and opened her womb.” Genesis 30:22

Like Rachel we can feel everyone around us is being blessed by the LORD and we are just forgotten! Not true, the LORD knows exactly where we are at and while we are waiting He prepares us for whats next!

“Rest in the LORD, and wait for Him; Do not fret because of him who prospers in his way, Because of the man who brings wicked schemes to pass.” Psalm 37:7

Being patient and waiting can be hard, we want to get out there and shake things up make things happen! Often times when we do things on our own strength we tend to make messes. The best thing to do is wait for the LORD to move. Even when we see those around us prospering.

“I wait for the LORD, my soul waits, And in His word I do hope.” Psalm 130:5

Today realize the LORD hasn’t forgotten you, He knows your situation, so just keep digging into His word, walk in His way and follow His instructions! He always gets us through, have a blessed day waiting on Him!
