Love the LORD and your neighbor!l

“You shall walk in all the ways which the LORD your God has commanded you, that you may live and that it may be well with you, and that you may prolong your days in the land which you shall posses.”

Deuteronomy 5:33

The LORD has our lives perfectly laid out before us, all we have to do is simply walk in His ways not ours!

“It is better to trust in the LORD Than to put confidence in man.”

Psalm 118:8

The LORD really has made it simple for us to walk in His ways, to make our lives easy to live!

“You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your strength. And these words which I command you today shall be in your heart.”

Deuteronomy 6:5-6

Yes we need to love the LORD, being in His word and doing what He says!

“You shall not take vengeance, nor bear any grudge against the children of your people, but you shall love your neighbor as yourself: I am the LORD.”

Leviticus 19:18

The LORD really made it easy for us to walk in His ways! Jesus was asked what are the greatest commandments and He said;

“You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, all your soul and all your mind! And second is Love your neighbor as yourself, There is no greater commandment then these!”

Matthew 22 and Mark 12

Today love the LORD, get into His word and do what it says, love the people around you and repeat! This is the best way to have a beautiful prolonged and blessed day.

Do what the LORD says!

“You shall not add to the word which I command you, nor take from it, that you may keep the commandments of the LORD your God which I command you.”

Deuteronomy 4:2

We are to do what the word tells us, not to add or subtract! Unfortunately at times we can do just that! We add and subtract to fit our wants and needs, instead we should just do what the LORD says!

“But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves.”

James 1:22

Life is less complicated when we just do what the LORD says, walk in His was not get in His way!

“But you who held fast to the LORD your God are alive today, every one of you.”

Deuteronomy 4:4

When we hold onto the LORD we have life, when we hold onto the world we have dead things! Today cling to the LORD and have a blessed day!

Plead with the LORD not the world.

“Then I pleaded with the LORD at that time, saying:”

Deuteronomy 3:23

When was the last time you pleaded with the LORD? We all can and do face all kinds of problems in life, do we plead with the LORD or the world?

I will call upon the LORD, who is worthy to be praised; So shall I be saved from my enemies.”

Psalm 18:3

We need to call upon the LORD for everything, and we need to heed His voice even when we don’t agree!

“For My thoughts are not your thoughts, Nor are your ways My ways, says the LORD.”

Isaiah 55:8

Today get into Hi word, call upon the LORD, plead your case with Him and listen for His voice!

“Therefore you shall keep the commandments of the LORD your God, to walk in His ways and to fear Him.”

Deuteronomy 8:6

Have a blessed day doing things the LORD’S way!

Look to the LORD

“When Jesus saw him lying there, and knew that he already had been in that condition a long time, He said to him, Do you want to be made well?”

John 5:6

We all want to be made well whether it’s physical healing, emotional healing, relational healing or a financial; We all want to be made well! Often times we look at the problem and not the problem solver!

“Look to Me, and be saved, All you ends of the earth! For I am God, and there is no other.”

Isaiah 45:22

Today are we staring at the problem or situation? This man was looking at his bed and how he couldn’t walk for thirty-eight years, he never looked to the LORD, he just looked at his bed, the water and men who will always let us down!

“Therefore I will look to the LORD; I will wait for the God of my salvation; My God will hear me.”

Micah 7:7

Do you want to be made well?

“Jesus said to him, Rise, take up your bed and walk.”

John 5:8

Today don’t look at whatever problem you have, but look to the LORD, and walk towards Him! In Him we will be made well! Have a blessed day!

Look to the LORD

“God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth.”

John 4:24

The Spirit is God in us, and the truth is His word and the instructions it has for us!

“Your word I have hidden in my heart, That I might not sin against You.”

Psalm 119:11

We all really need to start our day calling upon the LORD (praying), then digging into His word for direction!

“I will call upon the LORD, who is worthy to be praised; So shall I be saved from my enemies.”

2 Samuel 22:4

Today let call upon the LORD, look to His word and do what He says! Have a blessed day! Shabbat Shalom!
