The LORD has you!

“Adonai spoke to Moshe in the Sinai Desert, in the tent of meeting, on the first day of the second month of the second year after they had left the land of Egypt.”
Numbers 1:1 CJB

Just like the children of Israel, who were wandering in the wilderness, we can feel the same way! The LORD saves us from the world (Egypt) and at times we may feel like we are wandering in the wilderness.

“I don’t ask you to take them out of the world, but to protect them from the Evil One.”
John 17:15 CJB

We may be in the wilderness, but the good news is that the LORD has us and is protecting us from it! So no matter how things may look or feel, we have the LORD, who has us!

“He holds the depths of the earth in His hands; the mountain peaks too belong to Him.”
Psalm 95:4 CJB

As we see the things happening around us, things can get us uptight and uncomfortable! Understand, as we are walking in the wilderness (world), know that the LORD has us right where we need to be in His hands!
Have a blessed day!
Shabbat Shalom!

Help one another

“Following are the men who joined David at Ziklag while he was still being kept away from Sha’ul the son of Kish; they were among the warriors who helped him fight his battles.”
1 Chronicles 12:1 CJB

Not that David was sinless or perfect in any way, he still desired to follow after God! With that said, like David, we all need help and we need to help others!

“They helped David against the raiding band, for they were all strong, brave men who were commanders in the army.”
1 Chronicles 12:22 CJB

As believers, we all may have different views, different callings and different opinions, but we all follow the same LORD of LORDS, the creator of the universe! So helping each other is always going to be better!

“Therefore, openly acknowledge your sins to one another, and pray for each other, so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective.”
James 5:16 CJB

Today, don’t look at our differences, but instead look at what we have in common, the LORD! Then build on what unites us and help one another, lifting each other up in prayer!
Have a blessed day!
Shabbat Shalom!

God is great

“David grew greater and greater, because Adonai-Tzva’ot was with him.”
1 Chronicles 11:9 CJB

The reason David grew greater and greater is because the LORD was with him! It wasn’t because he had special skills or a deeper knowledge, it was simply because the LORD was with him! The same goes for us, the LORD is with us and anything that is great is because of the LORD!

“0Great is Adonai and greatly to be praised; His greatness is beyond all searching out.”
Psalm 145:3 CJB

Be careful of looking at our failures or problems, but instead look to the LORD and His greatness! David had difficulties and they got worse when he took his eyes ofF the LORD!

“May the favor of Adonai our God be on us, prosper for us all the work we do-yes, prosper the work that we do.”
Psalm 90:17 CJB

Today, if you want greatness in your life, then keep your eyes on the LORD and realize, greatness might not be fame and fortune. Greatness is only found in the LORD!
Have a blessed day looking to Him!

Don’t judge!

“So Saul died for transgression he committed against Adonai, because of the word of Adonai that he did not keep and because he sought the counsel of a spirit instead of consulting Adonai. Therefore Adonai put him to death and turned the rulership over to David the son of Yishai (Jessie).”
1 Chronicles 10:13-14 CJB

When we disobey the LORD and do our own thing, we will get found out and the LORD will put an end to it!

“But if you will not do this, then you have sinned against Adonai, and must understand that your sin will find you out.”
Numbers 32:23 CJB

Know that we need to repent of our sins, but we need to be careful of trying to point out someone else! The LORD will deal with them, if a ministry is fleecing, a politician stealing or someone is just lying, it’s not up to us to straighten them out! Remember, the LORD doesn’t need our help to point things out! What we need to do is pray!

“When I acknowledge my sin to You, when I stopped concealing my guilt, and said, I will confess my offenses to Adonai; then you, you forgave the guilt of my sin.”
Psalm 32:5 CJB

Today, let’s repent about our wrong doing and pray for others, knowing the LORD has it all covered!
Have a blessed day in Him!

Share the Good News

“”Their kinsmen the L’vi’im (Levites) were put in charge of all the service of the tabernacle of the house of God.”
1 Chronicles 6:33 CJB

Just like the Levites, the LORD has put us in charge to share His good news and taking care of the needs of His tabernacle!

“But you are chosen people, the King’s cohanim, a holy nation, a people for God to possess! Why? In order for you to declare the praises of the One who called you out of darkness into His wonderful light.”
1 Peter 2:9 CJB

We, as believers, have a special privilege and responsibility to share the good news! We all have to step up and step out and share His Good News of Salvation!

“Sing praises to Adonai, who lives in Tziyon; proclaim His deeds among the peoples.”
Psalm 9:11 CJB

Today, let’s get serious about our responsibility to share the Good News of Salvation! The times we are living in makes sharing much more urgent as we see the world rapidly falling apart!
Have a blessed day sharing the Salvation of the LORD!
