The wings of the LORD

“Even when the cloud remained on the tabernacle for a long time, the people of Israel did what Adonai had charged them to do and did not travel.”
Numbers 9:19 CJB

Same goes for us when we need to just rest under the covering of the LORD, moving when He moves and staying when He stays!

“How precious, God, is your grace! People take refuge in the shadow of your wings.”
Psalm 36:7 CJB

With all the troubles in the world today, we really need to rest and trust in the LORD, staying under His wings!

“My safety and honor rest on God. My strong rock and refuge are in God.”
Psalm 62:7 CJB

Today, rest under the cloud of the LORD, stay when He stays and move when He moves!
Have a blessed day in Him!
Shabbat Shalom!

All are called

“They were assigned [periods of service] by lot, the one group equally with the other, since both the descendants of El’azar and the descendants of Itamar had officers of the sanctuary and officers of God.”
1 Chronicles 24:5 CJB

Same goes for us today, we all have an assigned duty to perform for the LORD! Whether it’s to teach, comfort, raise children or serve our community. We are all called to share the good news of the LORD!

“They will sing about Adonai’s ways, Great is the glory of Adonai.”
Psalm 138:5 CJB

Whether you believe you have some special qualification or not, realize we’ve all been called to share the beauty of the LORD!

“Let them praise the name of Adonai, for His name alone is exalted; His glory is above both earth and heaven.”
Psalm 148:13 CJB

Today, know you have a privilege and a duty to serve the LORD, so look for opportunities!
So have a blessed day doing it!
Shabbat Shalom!

Jesus is the answer

“They were to stand every morning to sing thanks and praises to Adonai, and likewise every evening.”
1 Chronicles 23:30 CJB

In other words we need to start our day with the LORD, live our day with the LORD and end our day with the LORD!

‘Make me hear of Your love in the morning, because I rely on you. Make me know the way I should walk, because I entrust myself to you.”
Psalm 143:8 CJB

As we start our day, we really need to spend time in prayer, in His word meditating on it and then living it through the day!

“Oh yes, they seek Me day after day and delight in knowing my ways. As if they were an upright nation that had not abandoned the ruling of their God, they ask me for just rulings and to take pleasure in closeness to God.”
Isaiah 58:2 CJB

Today, let’s make the LORD the priority for everything, because no matter what He is the answer for everything!
Have a blessed day.

Focus on godly things

“Then you will succeed, if you take care to obey the laws and rulings that Adonai ordered Moshe concerning Israel. Be strong, be bold; don’t be afraid or become discouraged!”
1 Chronicles 22:13 CJB

We will always do well when we do things the LORD’S way!

“As high as the sky is above the earth are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.”
Isaiah 55:9 CJB

Be careful when you’re afraid or discouraged, that’s when we start looking to foolish things or worldly things for quick fixes or answers! Our first “go to” should always be the LORD!

“Seek Adonai and His strength; always seek His presence.”
Psalm 105:4 CJB

Today, don’t focus on fearful things and discouraging things, but, instead focus on the LORD!
Have a blessed day!

His mercy

“David said to Gad, This is very hard for me. Let me fall into the hand of Adonai, because his mercies are very great, rather than have me fall into the hand of man.”
1 Chronicles 21:13 CJB

We should always desire to fall into the hands of the LORD, not the hands of men! Because in the hands of the LORD we will always be better off!

“He has not treated us as our sins deserve or paid us back for our offenses, because His mercy toward those who fear Him is as far above earth as heaven.”
Psalm 103:10-11 CJB

Even when we blow it, we can always count on the fact when we confess, His mercies will always come through!

“Give thanks to Adonai, for He is good, for His grace continues forever.”
Psalm 136:1 CJB

Today, no matter what is happening, know that we are always gonna be better off falling into the mercies of the LORD!
Have a blessed day!
