Be on the side of God!

“One day, when Y’hoshua (Joshua) was there by Yericho(Jericho), he raised his eyes and looked; and in front of him stood a man with his drawn sword in his hand. Y’hoshua went over to him and asked him, Are you on our side or on the side of our enemies?”
Joshua 5:13 CJB

Understand God isn’t on anyone’s side but His own! The question we should ask is are we on the side of Adonai?

“Moshe stood at the entrance to the camp and shouted, Whoever is for Adonai, come to me! All the descendants of Levi rallied around him.”
Exodus 32:26 CJB

No matter what, we need to be on the side of Adonai! How do we know? When we hear His word and do it!

“Don’t deceive yourselves by only hearing what the Word says, but do it!”
James 1:22 CJB

We can’t just hear and know the Word of God, we need to do what His Word says!
Have a blessed day being on the side of Adonai!
Shabbat Shalom!

Teach about God

“Then he said to the people of Israel, In the future when your children ask their fathers what these stones mean, you are to explain to them by saying, ‘Israel came over this Yarden on dry land.”
Joshua 4:21-22 CJB

The conclusion we should come to when reading these verses is we need to teach our children about Adonai!

“Train a child in the way he [should] go; even when old, he will not swerve from it.”
Proverbs 22:6 CJB

Yes, we need to be raising our kids in the ways of Adonai, sharing the Good News of Adonai and His salvation!

“These words, which I am ordering you today, are to be on your heart; and you are to teach them carefully to your children. You are to talk about them when you sit at home, when you are traveling on the road, when you lie down and when you get up.”
Deuteronomy 6:6-7 CJB

We will never go wrong when we share about Adonai! In fact the best thing we can do is teach our children about Adonai!
Have a blessed day sharing about God!

He does wonderful things!

“Y’hoshua (Joshua) said to the people, “Consecrate yourselves, because tomorrow Adonai is going to work wonders among you.”

Joshua 3:5 CJB

In other words, we need to get ready and keep our eyes open. God is always doing wonderful things!

“Adonai did do great things with us; and we are overjoyed.”
Psalm 126:3 CJB

Look for the great things God is doing and praise Him!

“Sing to Him, sing praises to Him! Talk about all His wonders.”
1 Chronicles 16:9 CJB

God is doing wonderful things in us and around us, so let’s praise Him!
Have a blessed day

Listen to God

“According to your words, so be it, she said, and sent them away. as they departed, she tied the scarlet cord in the window.”
Joshua 2:21 CJB

We see here grace, Rachav (Rahab) and her family are saved, because she believed! Also we see how when people bless the children of God, that they will be saved (blessed)!

“I will bless those who bless you, but I will curse anyone who curses you; and by all the families of the earth will be blessed.”
Genesis 12:3 CJB

When we simply just do as God instructs us by following His Word, we will always be blessed!

“Doing Your will, my God, is my joy; Your Torah is in my inmost being.”
Psalm 40:8 CJB

We can always count on the fact when we do what God instructs us to do, we will always be blessed and the good news is when we blow it, He is always faithful and just to forgive!
Have a blessed day trusting God!

Be bold

“Be strong, be bold; for you will cause this people to inherit the land I swore to their fathers I would give them.”
Joshua 1:6 CJB

Understand God wants us to step out in His strength not our own, this is how we can be bold and strong, by stepping out in faith!

“Then He answered me, This is the word of Adonai to Z’rubavel: ‘Not by force, and not by power, but by My Spirit,’ says Adonai.”
Zechariah 4:6 CJB

The point God is getting at here is we can’t do things in our own strength and power, but we can do all things in His strength and power! That is how we can be bold and strong!

“For we live by trust, not by what we see.”
2 Corinthians 5:7 CJB

Don’t get caught up in seeing first, but step out and be bold for Adonai!
May your day be richly blessed!
