“Yes, He will rebuild the temple of Adonai; and He will take up royal splendor, sitting and ruling from His throne. There will be a Cohen (priest) before His throne; and they will accept each other’s advice in complete harmony.”

Understand when we read in the Bible about perfect peace and harmony, it’s speaking of the future kingdom that Jesus will be setting up! As we look around at the leaders of the world today, realize they are not the ones! No matter which guy you’ve voted for, understand they are not gonna set up anything even close to perfect, peaceful or united. Only the LORD can!

“A person whose desire rests on You, You preserve in perfect peace, because he trusts in You.”
Isaiah 26:3 CJB

Understand if we are looking for the perfect and godly society here on earth, we will be disappointed and disillusioned every time! What we need to be looking for is the LORD whose kingdom is not of this world!

“Don’t let yourselves be disturbed. Trust in God and trust in Me. In My Father’s house are many places to live. If there weren’t I would have told you; because I am going there to prepare a place for you. Since I am going and preparing a place for you, I will return to take you with me; so that where I am, you may be also.”
John 14:1-3 CJB

Today, there are many things happening around us that can and do upset us! The LORD tells us not to worry, because He has all things under control, no matter what we may think! So don’t get all caught up in the world and its messes, but get caught up in the LORD instead!

“Again, I raised my eyes, and saw in front of me a flying scroll. He said to me, what do you see? I replied, I see a flying scroll thirty feet long and fifteen feet wide.”
Zechariah 5:1-2 CJB

How crazy to see a flying scroll in the sky, but God uses whatever He can to get our attention! Its is believed that the flying scroll is the word of God, spread out for all to see! Especially we who believe! We need to take in His word, learn His word and share His word!

“I treasure Your word in my heart, so that I won’t sin against You.”
Psalm 119:11 CJB

We really need to be lovers and doers of the word of God! Sharing it as often as we can! The other thing we can see in these verses is, God can do things that we think are odd or make no sense, like a having a flying scroll in the sky!

“As high as the sky is above the earth are My ways higher than your ways, and My thoughts than your thoughts.”
Isaiah 55:9 CJB

So today, if things seem odd, or something God is allowing to happen seems strange to us. It just maybe the LORD is giving us an opportunity to take in and share His word with someone!

We really do have angels or ministering spirits hanging out amongst us! I believe most of the time they wonder in amazement what we are doing and how we are acting! We worry about the government, our finances and health, knowing that soon and very soon we will be with the King of kings!

“S’rafim stood over him, each with six wings- two for covering his face, two for covering his feet and two for flying. They were crying out to each other, More holy than the holiest holiness’s Adonai- Tzva’ot! The whole earth is filled with His glory!”
Isaaiah 6:2-3 CJB

The angels are in heaven with the LORD worshipping having a grand time with Jesus and we are here struggling about the situation that the world is in! In one quick moment, a twinkling of and eye we will be with the LORD at this worship party! We need to look less at our situations and become more heavenly minded our final destination!

“After these things, I looked; and there before me was a door standing open in heaven; and the voice like a trumpet which I had heard speaking with me before said, Come up here, and I will show you what must happen after these things.”
Revelation 4:1 CJB

Jesus calls John up into heaven to show him His new place that was prepared for Him, a place of peace and praise a place where we will hear and see the LORD!

“Each of the four living beings had six wings and was covered with eyes inside and out; and day and night they never stop, Holy, holy, holy is the Adonai, God of heaven’s armies the One who was , who is coming!”
Revelation 4:8 CJB

One day the Angels won’t just be watching us in amazement, we will actually be beside them worshipping also! What a glorious day that will be! Understand, this is what we get to look forward to!

The same things go for us today, Zechariah is asking the angel what’s going on and the angel is replying this is something you should know! The LORD doesn’t want us in the dark He wants us to know!

“You make me know the path of life; in your presence is unbounded joy, in your right hand eternal delight.”
Psalm 16:11 CJB

The LORD really wants us to be in His light, knowing what is going on around us! What we should know is we are surrounded by evil and we need to be walking in the light of the LORD!

“And this message which we have heard from Him and proclaim to you: God is light, and there is no darkness in Him-none!”
1 John 1:5 CJB

Today, let’s be comforted with the fact that the LORD is light and He doesn’t want us to be confused with the darkness of the world! He has given us His word to guide us and illuminate our paths!

When the time comes or in that day, refers to the Day of the LORD! A day when all things will be made right and there will be real peace!

We need to be real careful of trying to believe things are gonna be right in this fallen world! Things will never be right until the LORD comes and makes all things right!

“In the name of Myself I have sworn, from My mouth has rightly gone out, a word that will not return-that to Me every knee will bow and every tongue will swear.”
Isaiah 45:23 CJB and Philippians 2:10 CJB

There is no getting around it, everyone is gonna eventually kneel before the LORD and confess He is God! We need to be thankful that we already have on this side of eternity! If you haven’t then today, is the day, because there are no second chances after you breathe your last breath here!

Today, let’s be thankful we have salvation!
