Yeshua calms the storms

“But at once Yeshua spoke to them. Courage, He said, it is I. Stop being afraid.”
Matthew 14:27 CJB

Even though the disciples here are freaking out because of the storm they were in, Yeshua tells them to take courage! Why? Because, He is right in the storm with them. The same goes for us!

“In my distress my comfort is this: that your promise gives me life.”
Psalm 119:50 CJB

Often times we can feel the pressures of life crushing us, but don’t focus on them, but focus on the LORD instead!

“Stay alert, always praying that you will have the strength to escape all the things that will happen and to stand in the presence of the Son of Man.”
Luke 21:36 CJB

Today, instead of worrying about everyday issues ( the storms) keep your focus on the LORD instead, knowing He is gonna get you through.
Have a blessed day in Him.

Great is His faithfulness

“The Kingdom of Heaven is like a treasure hidden in a field. A man found it, hid it again, then in great joy went and sold everything he owned, and bought that field.”
Matthew 13:44 CJB

When we come to the LORD and realize all He has done for us, saving our souls from hell, we should have the desire to give up everything to follow Him!

“Again, the Kingdom of Heaven is like a merchant on the lookout for fine pearls. On finding one very valuable pearl he went away, sold everything he owned and bought it.”
Matthew 13:45-46 CJB

We always need to be on the lookout for the LORD and also looking to share that awesome gift of Salvation with others! Yeshua (Jesus) gave up everything to save us! What are we willing to give up to follow Him?

“On the contrary, they are new every morning! How great Your faithfulness! Adonai is all I have, I say; therefore I will put my hope in Him. Adonai is good to those waiting for him, to those who are seeking Him out.”
Lamentations 3:23-25 CJB

Today, realize the only thing we should be seeking is the LORD and His Kingdom, because no matter what we give up, He fills with something better!
Have a blessed day living in the faithfulness of the LORD!

Seek the LORD

“Assemble yourselves and listen, sons of Ya`akov; pay attention to your father.”
Genesis 49:2 CJB

This is what we need to be doing, assembling ourselves to our Father in Heaven so we can hear His instructions!

“Assemble the people-the men, the woman, the little ones and the foreigners you have in your towns-so that they can hear, learn, fear Adonai your God and take care to obey all the words of this Torah (instructions).”
Deuteronomy 31:12 CJB

We will always be better off when we gather together to fellowship and hear about the LORD!

“And let us keep paying attention to one another, in order to spur each other on to love and good deeds, not neglecting our own congregational meetings, as some have made a practice of doing, but, rather, encouraging each other. And let us do this all the more as you see the Day approaching.”
Hebrews 10:24-25 CJB

Today, let’s gather together with other believers encouraging each other in the LORD, because the times we are living in we are going to need each other!
Have a blessed day!
Shabbat Shalom!

Be careful what you say!

“Moreover, I tell you this: on the Day of Judgment people will have to give account for every careless word they have spoken; for by your own words you will be acquitted, and by your own words you will be condemned.”
Matthew 12:36-37 CJB

We all really need to be careful of what we say and not be careless! What we say matters, our words can really hurt, get us in trouble and sometimes can’t be taken back!

“Let my lips speak praise, because you teach me Your laws.”
Psalm 119:171 CJB

We need to be pouring the word of God into our minds and hearts to combat the evil that surrounds us and the evil that may be in us!

“Your word is refined to complete purity, and your sevant loves it.”
Psalm 119:140 CJB

Today, we really need to check what we say and if we are saying ungodly things, then we better check what what we are taking in!
Have a blessed day pouring the word of God into your heart!
Shabbat Shalom!

Cherish salvation

“Then Yeshua began to denounce the towns in which He had done most of His miracles, because the people had not turned from their sins to God. Woe to you, Korazin! Woe to you, Beit-Tzaidah! Why, if the miracles done in you had been done in Tzor and Tzidn (Tyre and Sidon), they would long ago have put on sackcloth and ashes as evidence that they had changed their ways.”
Matthew 11:20-21 CJB

The sad thing is that even today people don’t take repenting and turning from sin seriously! Many take the grace of God for granted and don’t realize God’s grace comes with a great responsibility we need to walk in His ways! Grace is a free gift from God, which should be the most precious gift we have!

“But I tell you that on the Day of Judgment it will be more bearable for the land of S’dom (Sodom) than for you.”
Matthew 11:24 CJB

All this can start to sound scary and may even worry you a bit! Jesus is really serious about us not living in sin, He wants us to walk in His ways, which will always be right! Is it hard? Yes! But with the LORD it’s easy!

“Take My yoke upon you and LEARN from Me, because I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy, and My burden is light.”
Matthew 11:30 CJB

Our LORD really wants us to be walking in His ways. To be honest, it is way more burdensome to walk in sin!
Today let’s walk in the light of the LORD!
