Joy in the LORD

“So why are you putting God to the test now by placing a yoke on the neck of the talmidim (disciples) which neither our fathers nor we have had the strength to bear?”
Acts 15:10 CJB

What Peter is getting at here is, why are you putting burdens and yokes on these new believers that you yourselves never had to do! This is even a problem today, people putting ungodly and unbiblical rules on people and using God to do it!

“For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.”
Matthew 11:30 CJB

As believers, it should be easy and a joy to keep the commands of the LORD!

“If you love Me, you will keep My commands.”
John 14:15 CJB

Doing and living for the LORD should be a joy, not a burden!

“No, it is through the love and kindness of the LORD Yeshua that we trust and are delivered – and it’s the same with them.”
Acts 15:11 CJB

Today, don’t put burdens on others and remember it’s never a burden to walk with the LORD, it should be a joy!
Have a blessed day in Yeshua!

Worship the Creator

“Men! Why are you doing this? We’re just men, human like you! We are announcing Good News to you – turn from these worthless things to the living God who made heaven and earth and the sea and everything in them!”
Acts 14:15 CJB

People do the same thing today, they worship celebrities, politicians and athletes instead of the creator of the universe! People worship the creation instead of the creator!

“Who is like You, Adonai, among the mighty? Who is like You, sublime (glorious) in holiness, awesome in praises, working wonders?”
Exodus 15:11 CJB

The answer to this is no one! The LORD is the creator of all things and nothing compares to Him, even though folks may try!

“Shma, Yisrael! Adonai Eloheinu, Adonai echad [Hear, Israel! Adonai our God, Adonai is one]; and you are to love Adonai your God with all your heart, all your being and all your resources.”
Deuteronomy 6:4-5 CJB also Matthew 22:37 Mark 12:20
Luke 10:27

Today, we need to understand that there will be deniers among us who reject God the creator of the universe! Don’t let it bother you, but instead be encouraged in Yeshua who will make all things right!
Have a blessed day worshipping the creator of the world!

Get caught up in the LORD

“You mockers! Look, and marvel, and die! For in your own time, I am doing a work that you simply will not believe, even if someone explains it to you.”
Acts 13:41 CJB

There will always be people who will just not believe, they mock and deny the LORD and every chance they get! They just won’t listen, no matter what you say and do!

“Woe to those who call evil good and good evil, who change darkness into light and light into darkness, who change bitter into sweet and sweet into bitter.”
Isaiah 5:20 CJB

The world is full of self-centered people who deny the LORD! So what should we do? We should just keep living for the LORD and don’t waste our time with deniers!

“Woe to those seeing themselves as wise, esteeming themselves as clever.”
Isaiah 5:21 CJB

Today, let’s not get caught up in senseless arguments, but instead be caught up in the LORD! Sharing with those who want to listen and walking away from those who don’t!
Have a blessed day in Him!

Clean up

“The Cohen will examine him, and if he sees the scab has spread on his skin, then the Cohen will declare him unclean; it is Tzara`at (Leprosy, sin).”
Leviticus 13:8 CJB

We all should take time and examine ourselves to see if there is anything unclean that needs to be removed or dealt with!

“Examine me, Adonai, test me, search my mind and heart.”
Psalm 26:2 CJB

When we actually search our hearts and minds, we may find things that need to be changed or removed, because it’s unclean!

“A time to search and a time to give up, a time to keep and a time to discard.”
Ecclesiastes 3:6 CJB

Today, take some time to search, give up, discard and clean up!
Have a blessed day!
Shabbat Shalom.

Pray

“Then Kefa (Peter) came to himself and said, Now I know for sure that the LORD sent His angel to rescue me from Herod’s power and from everything the Judean people were hoping for.”
Acts 12:11 CJB

Here we see Kefa (Peter) locked up in jail and the believers praying for his release and the LORD sends an angel to bust Him out!

“He knocked at the outside door, and a servant named Rhoda came to answer. She recognized Kefa’s voice and was so happy that she ran back in without opening the door, and announced that Kefa was standing outside. You’re out of your mind! they said to her. But she insisted it was true. So they said, It is his angel.”
Acts 12:13-15 CJB

We can do the same thing, fervently pray for something, believing the LORD will answer and when He does, we sometimes doubt or don’t believe!

“Instantly the father of the child exclaimed, I do trust-help my lack of trust!”
Mark 9:24 CJB

We can believe with all our hearts that Yeshua is the LORD! But we may get into situations were we think the LORD may not get us out saying things like: “Like that’s gonna happen” or “maybe for others, but not for me”. Realize the LORD is gonna get us through and He always answers us when we call!
Have a blessed day in Him!
Shabbat Shalom!
