Gods way is love

“He did what was evil from Adonai’s perspective; he did not turn from all the sins of Yarov`am (Jeroboam) the son of N’vat, who made Israel sin.”
2 Kings 14:24 CJB

Here we see Jeroboam 2, do the same as Jeroboam 1, doing evil according to Adonai’s perspective! We need to understand that everything that is good or bad is always going to be from Adonai’s perspective!

“For My thoughts are not your thoughts, and your ways are not My ways, says Adonai.”
Isaiah 55:8 CJB

When we do life our way, it really is evil from God’s perspective. When we do life His way, it might not make sense but His way is always going to reflect His perfect love!

“Everyone will know that you are My talmadim (disciples) by the fact that you have love for each other.”
John 13:35 CJB

Realize when we walk in the ways of God it’s always going to reflect His love!
Have a blessed day walking in the ways of God, reflecting His love!

Imitate Yeshua

“He did what was evil from Adonai’s perspective; he followed the sins of Yarov`am the son of N’vat, who made Isra’el sin; and he never ceased committing those sins.”
2 Kings 13:2 CJB

We all need to be careful of following or justifying sin! We also need to be careful of trying to justify our sins because we see someone else doing it!

“Try to imitate me, even as I myself try to imitate the Messiah.”
1 Corinthians 11:1 CJB

What Paul is saying here is, as he is doing his best to imitate Yeshua, so should we! The best thing we can do to follow Yeshua, is to immerse ourselves in scripture and walk in His ways, so we can reflect His glorious light!

“In the same way, let your light shine before people, so that they may see the good things you do and praise your Father in heaven.”
Matthew 5:16 CJB

So let’s do our best to imitate Yeshua and not the world!
Have a blessed day!
Shabbat Shalom!

Remove the sin

“Nevertheless the high priest places were not taken away; the people still sacrificed and presented offerings on the high places.”
2 Kings 12:4 CJB verse 3 in other translations

What foolish and sinful things do we leave standing in our lives?
God desires us to remove them and not go back to them!

“You must destroy all places where the nations you are dispossessing served their gods, whether on high mountains, on hills or under some leafy tree.”
Deuteronomy 12:2 CJB

What God is saying here is if you have a place that you go to sin, destroy it or get rid of it! In other words don’t go there anymore! Submit to God instead!

“Therefore, submit to God. Moreover, take a stand against the Adversary, and he will flee from you.”
James 4:7 CJB

When we submit to God, the Adversary will flee and we won’t feel the bondage of sin in our lives anymore!
Have a blessed day removing the sinful things in our lives!
Shabbat Shalom!
