“Focus your minds on the things above, not on things here on earth.”

When we focus on the world, we can get depressed and filled with anxiety! But when we focus on things above, we are filled with His peace and anticipation for heaven!

“Therefore, put to death the earthly parts of your nature – sexual immorality, impurity, lust, evil desires and greed (which is a form of idolatry); for it is because of these things that God’s anger is coming on those who disobey Him.”
Colossians 3:5-6 CJB

We really don’t have to get caught up in the world and it’s worldliness. Realize the LORD is gonna deal with it! So don’t get caught up in earthly desires!

“Therefore take great care to love Adonai your God.”
Joshua 23:11 CJB

Today, focus on the LORD and not the world and know that He is gonna deal with it all things in His timing!

Be careful of people who try to lead you into walking in foolishness, using scripture out of context or mingling scripture with worldly concepts!

This is why we need to know our Bibles and be in prayer about everything!

“And it is in union with Him that you have been made full – He is the head of every rule and authority.”
Colossians 2:10 CJB

Today, let’s walk closely with the LORD, studying His word so we are prepared to know who are false prophets and teachers!

The same goes for us. Often times we spend to long on the mountain tops of life! We need too know when we’ve worn out our welcome and move on!

God has given us His word and His Holy Spirit to direct and guide us, so we should know when to stay and when to go!

“Guide my footsteps by your word; don’t let any kind of sin rule me.”

Today, let’s be in the word, listening for His direction!

The LORD was here long before us and He will always be here! He also has all things under His control!

God, has made all things so we need to know that He also has all things under control no matter how things may look! He doesn’t need our help trying to fix things. He really has that all covered!

“Worship Adonai in holy splendor; tremble before Him, all the earth!”
Psalm 96:9 CJB

Today, don’t be disheartened by the evil we see in the world, but instead just worship the LORD, He has everything under control!

The LORD really wants us not to worry and we shouldn’t! We should know everything will work out perfectly, just as the LORD has planned it!

“Then God’s shalom (peace), passing all understanding, will keep your hearts and minds safe in union with the Messiah Yeshua.”
Philippians 4:7 CJB

When we look to the LORD for everything and trust Him in everything, He will give us His peace! In the world we will still have conflict, trials and tribulation, but with the LORD we will have his shalom to get us through!

“What I am leaving with you is shalom-I am giving you My shalom. I don’t give the way the world gives. Don’t let yourselves be upset or frightened.”
John 14:27 CJB

Today, the world wants to give us fear and anxiety, but the LORD wants to give us peace!
