Follow the LORD

“Anyone whose name was not found written in the Book of Life was hurled into the lake of fire.”
Revelation 20:15 CJB

This should be a sobering verse for everyone! Why? Because it makes it clear you are saved or you are not? We all need to be careful of thinking God gives a pass on sin as some false teachers teach today! This couldn’t be farther from the truth, yes God is gracious, but He also will judge! We all need to repent and turn from sin!

“Not everyone who says to Me, LORD, LORD! will enter the Kingdom of Heaven, only those who do what my Father in heaven wants.”
Matthew 7:21 CJB

Like Yeshua says here, there are many people out there saying they’re doing things for the LORD, but really are only enriching themselves!

“On that Day, many will say to Me, LORD, LORD! Didn’t we prophecy (or teach) in Your name? Didn’t we expel demons in Your name? Didn’t we perform many miracles in Your name?”
Matthew 7:22 CJB

We all can do many things in the name of the LORD, but if we are still living in sin and being self-centered, then we are doing nothing for the LORD, just living in the world for ourselves!

“Then I will tell them to their faces, I never knew you! Get away from me, you workers of lawlessness!”
Matthew 7:23 CJB

Yeshua makes it pretty clear here, if you’re not living for Him you’ll have no part of Him in His kingdom! How do we keep ourselves in check? By being in His word and doing it!

“I treasure Your word in my heart, so that I won’t sin against You.”
Psalm 119:11 CJB

Today, let’s do the best thing we can do, that is be in the Word of God and not only do it, but live it!
Have a bless day in the LORD!

He appears

“Yitz’chak spoke to Avraham his father: My father? He answered, Here I am, my son. He said, I see the fire and the wood, but where is the lamb for a burnt offering? Avarham replied, God will provide Himself the lamb for a burnt offering, my son; and they both went together.”
Genesis 22:7-8 CJB

Just like here with Avraham and Yitz’chak (Abraham and Isaac), God will always appear to us in our times of need! Why? Because of His great love for us and He always takes care of our needs in His perfect timing!

“God, who gives me grace, will come to me; God will let me gaze in triumph at my foes.”
Psalm 59:10 CJB

Everyday we run into our foes, the things of the world, and God always appears in the nick of time to save us from our enemies! That gives us a testimony of His great love for us and the victories we have in Him!

“I call on Adonai, who is worthy of praise; and I am saved from my enemies.”
2 Samuel 22:4 CJB

Today, we should be well aware that the world is filled with our enemies and when we call on the LORD, He will appear to save us from them!
Have a blessed day!
Shabbat Shalom!

Victory in Yeshua

“After these things, I heard what sounded like the roar of a huge crowd in heaven, shouting, Halleluyah! The victory, the glory, the power of our God!”
Revelation 19:1 CJB

We, too, need to be vocal on how good and great our God is and don’t worry about the push back from the world! Remember, we already have victory in Yeshus!

“Not to us, Adonai, not to us, but to Your name give glory, because of Your grace and truth.”
Psalm 115:1 CJB

How true nothing is about us, it’s all about the LORD, who is amazing and does great things! Realize, He saved us from eternity in hell and gave us eternity with Him in heaven, because of what He has done!

“But will redeem me from Sh’ol’s control, because He will receive me.”
Psalm 49:15 CJB

We all, from time to time, need to be reminded of how good our God is and know that we’ve been redeemed!
May your day be richly blessed, knowing you’re saved!
Shabbat Shalom!

Seek the LORD

“Standing at a distance, for fear of her torment, they will say, Oh No! The great city! Bavel, the mighty city! In a single hour your judgment has come!”
Revelation 18:10 CJB

Notice how the concern here isn’t people or salvation it’s all about the material things of the world! Just like people today, they are more worried about their possessions!

“The world’s businessmen weep and mourn over her, because no one is buying their merchandise any more-stocks of gold and silver, gems and pearls, fine linen and purple, silk and scarlet, all rare woods, all ivory goods, all kinds of things made of scented wood, brass, iron, and marble; cinnamon, cardamon, incense, myrrh, frankincense, wine, oil, flour, grain, cattle, sheep, horses, chariots-and bodies-and people’s souls.”
Revelation 18:11-13 CJB

It is sad that we see people around us more concerned about possessions than what can really give them joy and hope, which is the LORD! What is even sadder is we see this among so called believers today!

“The fruits you lusted for with all your heart have gone! All the luxery and flashiness have been destroyed, never to return!”
Revelation 18:14 CJB

Today, let’s put all our hope in the LORD who will never let us down and not the world and its flashy things that will always leave us disappointed and empty!
Have a blessed day in the LORD!

Study His word

“The kings of the earth went whoring with her, and the people living on earth have become drunk from the wine of her whoring.”
Revelation 17:2 CJB

When this happens, the body of believers will be taken home, so this will be a thousand times worse, but we see these things happening today! Not just in the secular world, but also in the body of believers! We have false teachers, deceitful teachers and just pure liars speaking in many pulpits today! The solution is we need to be in the word of God studying it and knowing it!

“The time is coming, says Adonai Elohim, when I will send famine over the land, not a famine of bread or thirst for water, but of hearing the words of Adonai.”
Amos 8:11 CJB

We see this today, a famine for the word of God. People simply just don’t want or care to hear it and far too many preachers are willing to accommodate!

“For the time is coming when people will not have patience for sound teaching, but will cater to their passions and gather around themselves teachers who say whatever their ears itch to hear. Yes, they will stop listening to the truth, but will turn aside to follow myths.”
2 Timothy 4:3-4 CJB

Today, we see this happening now. Folks put more effort into activism, sports and politics than they do the word of God!
We don’t have to fall into that trap. We all need to spend more time in prayer and studying His word so we can understand the times we are living in!
Have a blessed day in Him!
