Gold

“The Menorah and its utensils were made of sixty-six pounds of pure gold.”
Exodus 37:24 CJB

Like the menorah, the Bible is sixty-six books of pure gold. This verse reminds me of the gold we have in the Bible!

“Like apples of gold in settings of silver is a word appropriately spoken.”
Proverbs 25:11 CJB

The word of God is the best thing we can have in our lives and I so love verses that remind me of that!

“Your word is a lamp for my foot and light on my path.”
Psalm 119:105 CJB

Today, if you feeling a little down, out of place or need some direction, just dig into the gold that we find in these sixty-six books of the Bible!
May your day be richly blessed!

Joy

“Moshe summoned B’tzal’el, Oholi’av and every craftsmen to whom Adonai had given wisdom, everyone whose heart stirred him, to come and take part in the work.”
Exodus 36:2 CJB

Adonai has given us all wisdom and skills He desires all of us to take part in the work for the kingdom! He wants us to participate, He wants us to serve and He stirs our hearts!

“Serve Adonai with gladness. Enter His presence with joyful songs.”
Psalm 100:2 CJB

God doesn’t only want us to serve, He wants us to be joyful while doing it! Serving Adonai isn’t burdensom it really should be a joy!

“Yes, you will go out with joy, you will be led forth in peace. As you come, the mountains and the hills will burst out into song, and all the trees in the countryside will clap their hands.”
Isaiah 55:12 CJB

Today, remember when we have joy in what we are doing, people notice and we become a better witness of Adonai!
Have a blessed day serving Adonai!

Walk uprightly

“Moshe assembled the whole community of the people of Israel and said to them, These are the things which Adonai has ordered you to do.”
Exodus 35:1 CJB

God really does give us a lot of direction on what we need to do! In fact His direction is not difficult!

“Human being, you have already been told what is good, what Adonai demands of you-no more than to act justly, love grace and walk in purity with your God.”
Micah 6:8 CJB

These are pretty simple instructions to follow love justice, grace and walk uprightly!

“This is my command: that you keep loving each other just as I have loved you. No one has greater love than a person who lays down his life for his friends.”
John 15:12-13 CJB

Today, if we follow the commands of Adonai, we will find He is a loving God who wants us to spread that love!
Have a blessed day in Him!

Grace

“Adonai passed before him and proclaimed: “YUD-HEH-VAV-HEH!!! YUD-HEH-VAV-HEH [Adonai] is God, merciful and compassionate, slow to anger, rich in grace and truth.”
Exodus 34:6 CJB

So thankful that the creator of the universe is slow to anger, rich in grace and is absolute truth! Why? Because if Adonai didn’t show us grace we’d be totally wiped out by now! Also let’s be thankful He is slow to anger.

“Adonai, don’t withhold your mercy from me. Let Your grace and truth preserve me always.”
Psalm 40:11 CJB

We all need to be so thankful for the grace and mercy that God gives us freely! With that said, my opinion is with grace comes much responsibility! I believe the free gift of grace makes us responsible to maintain it, by walking in God’s way, not ours!

“For Your grace is better than life. My lips will worship You.”
Psalm 63:3 CJB

Yes, His grace should be better than life. This life will end, but His grace will continue!

“If you love Me, you will keep My commands.”
John 14:15 CJB

Today, as we rejoice in His grace and mercy, let’s be responsible and walk in His truths (commands) also.
Have a blessed day!

Trust

“But when you changed your minds. You profaned My name when each of you took back his male and female slaves, whom you had set free to live as they wished, and brought them back into subjection as your slaves.”
Jeremiah 34:16 CJB

Understand God doesn’t want or ever wanted men to own each other, the bible has a lot to say about that subject, but we will save that for another day! What we need to see here is God doesn’t want us to go back on our word! Don’t say one thing then do another! Be careful of saying you’ll obey Adonai, then go back on your word!

“Look at the proud: he is inwardly not upright; but the righteous will attain life through trusting faithfulness.”
Habbakuk 2:4 CJB

We need to obey God on all He says to do. God told Israel to free their slaves and not make them slaves again! We need to do the same as we were freed from the slavery of sin, so don’t go back to it!

“For we live by trust, not by what we see.”
2 Corinthians 5:7 CJB

Today, trust Adonai and do what He says and don’t change your minds and go back to what you were before!
Have a blessed day trusting Adonai!
Shabbat Shalom!
