Shine

“You are not to deprive the foreigner or orphan of the justice which is his due, and you are not to take a widow’s clothing as collateral for a loan. Rather, remember that you were a slave in the land of Egypt; and Adonai your God redeemed you from there. That is why I am ordering you to do this.”
Deuteronomy 24:17-18 CJB

We need to remember that at one time we were all foreigners to God! So, with that said, we really need to be kind to unbelievers, because we may be all an unbeliever sees that reflects God!

“Proclaim with me the greatness of Adonai; let us exalt His name together.”
Psalm 34:3 CJB

As we see the world around us getting darker and darker, we really need to reflect the light of Yeshua in this dark world! The unbeliever really needs to see it and we really need to step up our game, so to speak!

“In the same way, let your light shine before people, so that they see the good things you do and praise your Father in heaven.”
Matthew 5:16 CJB

Today, realize that there are a lot of lost people in the world who really need to see the light of Yeshua!
Have a blessed day shining for Adonai!

Be honest

“If you choose not to make a vow at all, that will not be a sin for you; but if a vow passes your lips, you must take care to perform it according to what you voluntarily vowed to Adonai your God, what you promised in words spoken aloud.”
Deuteronomy 23:23-24 CJB

In other words we must keep our promises, making good on what we say we’ll do! If you’re not going to do it, then don’t say it!

“Just let your ‘Yes’ be a simple ‘Yes,’ and your ‘No’ a simple ‘No’; anything more than this has its origin in evil.”
Matthew 5:37 CJB

Let your ‘no’ and ‘yes’ both be righteous. In other words be straightforward and honest!

“For Adonai is righteous; He loves righteousness; the upright will see His face.”
Psalm 11:7 CJB

We all need to be careful of what we say! We need to be wise in our choice of words and making promises we know we can’t keep! Today, let’s make our words true and honest!
Have a blessed day walking in His righteousness!

God is on the throne

“Then this word of Adonai came to Yirmeyahu: Look, I am Adonai, the God of every living creature; is there anything too hard for me?”
Jeremiah 32:26-27 CJB

The world around us is getting increasingly more difficult to live in. We are all under some kind of pressure! Lack of food, gas and money can stress us out and give us anxiety! Remember the solution is always Adonai and nothing is too hard for Him!

“Furthermore, we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called in accordance with His purpose.”
Romans 8:28 CJB

At times when we look at our situation, we can ask: what is God doing? Especially as we see the world rapidly spiraling out of control! We just need to trust that Adonai is working out everything perfectly!

“This has come from Adonai, and in our eyes it is amazing.”
Psalm 118:23 CJB

Today, don’t worry about the troubling things around us, but look for the amazing things that Adonai is doing and is going to do!
Have a blessed day!
Shabbat Shalom!

Share good news

“”You are not to plow with an ox and a donkey together.”
Deuteronomy 22:10 CJB

God doesn’t want us to be unequally yoked or to be partnered with worldly people, He desires us to be separate from ungodliness!

“Since the Tanakh says, You are to be holy because I am holy.”
1 Peter 1:16 CJB

The world around us is filled with ordinary unsaved people, God wants us to be seperate from them holy (not ordinary).

“The people I formed for Myself, so that they would proclaim my praise.”
Isaiah 43:21 CJB

Today, realize God has made us for Himself to be separate from the worldliness, but able to proclaim His name to the unsaved!
Have a blessed day being separate from worldliness, but always ready to share His salvation!
Shabbat Shalom!

Pray

“Adonai, forgive your people Israel, whom you redeemed; do not allow innocent blood to be shed among your people Israel. And they will be forgiven this bloodshed.”
Deuteronomy 21:8 CJB

Here we see that when a crime takes a place in the city, that the inhabitants have a certain responsibility! We don’t see that today, we see that crimes basically go unpunished and the citizens often turn a blind-eye to them!

“The Torah of Adonai is perfect, restoring the inner person. The instruction of Adonai is sure, making wise the thoughtless.”
Psalm 19:7 CJB

The answer to everything is Yeshua! His Torah, His rules and His ways are always going to be best for us! We just need to take responsibility and do them!

“The fear of Adonai is clean, enduring forever. The rulings of Adonai are true, they are righteous altogether.”
Psalm 19:9 CJB

Today, let’s not ignore what is happening around us! Let’s not only take responsibility for our own actions, but let’s be actively praying for peace in our community!
Have a blessed day in Adonai!
