Proclaim good news

“For the four chief gatekeepers were on permanent duty; they were the L’vi’im (Levites) in charge of accommodation and supplies in the house of God.”
1 Chronicles 9:26 CJB

As we read through this chapter we see that all the Levites had a job and so do we! As we are called His royal priesthood, realize we all have a job to do too!

“But you are a chosen people, the King’s cohanim, a holy nation, a people for God to possess! Why? In order for you declare the praises of the One who called you out of darkness into His wonderful light.”
1 Peter 2:9 CJB

Just like the children of Israel who were called out of the darkness of Babylon to come back to the Holy Land! So we were called out of the darkness of the world to serve and share the love of God!

“Proclaim with me the greatness of Adonai; let us exalt His name together.”
Psalm 34:3 CJB

Today, look for every opportunity to share the glory of Adonai, it is what we all get to do!
Have a blessed day proclaiming the name of Adonai!

Comfort

“Efrayim their father mourned for a long time, and his kinsmen came to comfort him.”
1 Chronicles 7:22 CJB

Death, the loss of a loved one, can put us in a depression, some for a long time! As believers, we need to be sensitive to that and comfort those who need comforting!

“And let us keep paying attention to one another, in order to spur each other on to love and good deeds, not neglecting our own congregational meetings, as some have made a practice of doing, but, rather, encouraging each other. And let us do this all the more as you see the Day approaching.”
Hebrews 10:23-24 CJB

The closer we get to that Day of the LORD, which is fast approaching, the more we will need to be comforting one another!

“Comfort and keep comforting My people, says your God.”
Isaiah 40:1 CJB

Today, let’s really be on the lookout for people who need comforting! Maybe make a call or send a text to check in on a brother or a sister who you haven’t heard from in awhile! We all can use some comforting, so comfort some one today!
May your day be richly blessed!

Sing praises

“But Aharon and his sons were the ones who offered on the altar of burnt offering and on the altar of incense for all the service of the Especially Holy Place and to make atonement for Israel, in keeping with all that Moshe the servant of God had ordered to be done.”
1 Chronicles 6:34 CJB

We need to do the same thing by offering up praise to Adonai all day everyday! Praising Adonai is something we get to do!

“My mouth is full of praise for You, filled with Your glory all day long.”
Psalm 71:8 CJB

What is our mouth filled with all day long? Is it praise or is it complaining? Do we complain about what we don’t have or do we praise Adonai for what we do have?

“Hallelujah! How good it is to sing praises to our God! How sweet, how fitting to praise Him!”
Psalm 147:1 CJB

Today, let’s be all about praising the King and all the amazing things He has given us! The number one thing is SALVATION!
Have a blessed day!

Shine

“Listen to us, my lord. You are a prince of God among us, so choose any of our tombs to bury your dead-not one of us would refuse you his tomb for burying your dead.”
Genesis 23:6 CJB

How do our neighbors, co workers and family members look at us? Do they see God through us or the world? Do we reflect God?

“You are light for the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden.”
Matthew 5:14 CJB

We need to reflect the light of Yeshua everywhere we go! We need to be tasty salt and appealing light!

“In the same way, let your light shine before people, so that they may see the good things you do and praise your Father in heaven.”
Matthew 5:16 CJB

We really need to take a good look at ourselves and see if we are being light and being a witness to the world around us!

“Proclaim with me the greatness of Adonai; let us exalt His name together.”
Psalm 34:3 CJB

Today, let’s be all about shining and proclaiming how great our God is!
May your day be richly blessed!
Shabbat Shalom!

God is with us!

“They received help against them, so that the Hagri’im and all who were allied with them suffered defeat at their hands; because they cried out to God while they were fighting, and He did as they requested, because they put their trust in Him.”
1 Chronicles 5:20 CJB

Everyday we go out the door we go into battle. As we go out we need to be calling on God!

“I call on Adonai, who is worthy of praise; and I am saved from my enemies.”
Psalm 18:4 CJB

Know this: we can’t go out the door until we call on Adonai! We need Him to cover and protect us in all the battles of life!

“He said, Listen, all Y’hudah (Judah), you who live in Jerusalem and King Y’hoshafat (Jehoshaphat): here is what Adonai is saying to you: Don’t be afraid or distressed by this great horde; for the battle is not yours, but God’s.”
2 Chronicles 20:15 CJB

Today, know as we walk out the door and go into battle, it’s not ours but Adonai’s! Remember we are on His team and we walk in His victory. We don’t need to try to fight the battles of life on our own!
Have a blessed day in Adonai!
Shabbat Shalom!
