Give God the glory

“But if they say, ‘Come up to us,’ we’ll go on up; and that will be the sign that Adonai has given us victory over them.”

1 Samuel 14:10 CJB

Here we see Jonathan making his victory all about Adonai and giving Him all the glory!

“Declare his glory among the nations, his wonders among all peoples!”
1 Chronicles 16:24 CJB

We may have issues in life and need direction! Do what Jonathan did, he called on Adonai for directions and when God directed him, he gives all glory and credit to Adonai!

“For Adonai is great, and greatly to be praised; he is to be feared more than all gods.”
Psalm 96:4 CJB

So even though life has issues, simple thing here! Don’t allow the little things become the big things in life! Instead give God all the glory, making his amazing deeds known among all the people!
Have a blessed day in Adonai!
Shabbat Shalom!

Walk in God’s ways

“Sh’mu’el (Samuel) said to Sha’ul, You did a foolish thing. You didn’t observe the mitzvah (commands) of Adonai, which He gave you. If you had, Adonai would have set up your kingship over Israel forever.”
1 Samuel 13:13 CJB

Simple thought here, if we just simply do what God says we will have fewer problems! The issue with many believers is they try to look for loopholes to not follow God’s instructions!

“If you love Me, you will keep My commands.”
John 14:15 CJB

When we love someone, we will listen to them and try to make them happy by doing what they say. So if we love Adonai, we really should be striving to do what He says!

“For loving God means obeying His commands. Moreover, His commands are not burdensome.”
1 John 5:3 CJB

Adonai gives us commands not to be a burden, but to help us walk in His ways, not our own! His ways keep us from messes, our ways get us into them!
Have a blessed day doing life the way God instructs us to do it according to His Word!
Shabbat Shalom!

Free gift of salvation

“Sh’mu’el (Samuel) answered the people, Don’t be afraid. You have indeed done all this evil; yet now, just don’t turn away from following Adonai; but serve Adonai with all your heart.”
1 Samuel 12:20 CJB

The cool thing is when we repent, God forgives and forgets! We just need to be mindful and not return to doing evil!

“She said, No one, sir. Yeshua said, Neither do I condemn you. Now go, and don’t sin any more.”
John 8:11 CJB

Yeshua, came into the world to give us the greatest gift ever! Salvation! So let’s be thankful and glorify Adonai today!

“Proclaim with me the greatness of Adonai; let us exalt His name together.”
Psalm 34:3 CJB

So let’s rejoice today and celebrate the free gift of Salvation!
Have an amazingly blessed day!

Yeshua guide me

“Nachash the Amoni replied, I’ll do it on this condition: that all your right eyes be gouged out and thus bring disgrace on all of Israel.”
1 Samuel 11:2 CJB

The world is always looking at ways to disgrace the Children of God, look how the world attacks Israel, the Jewish people and believers in Yeshua today! The sad thing is many believers bring disgrace upon themselves by committing adultery, fleecing their employees and church leaders fleecing their flocks to name a few things! If we belong to God, we need to be upright!

“Lead me, Adonai, in Your righteousness because of those lying in wait for me; make Your way straight for me.”
Psalm 5:8 CJB

We need to constantly be looking to God to guide us and lead us in His ways! Remember the world is always looking for an opportunity to pounce on us!

“Guide me in Your truth, and teach me; for You are the God who saves me, my hope is in You all day long.”
Psalm 25:5 CJB

This verse is a great prayer for us to pray every day! Guide me, teach me and let me put my hope in You!
Have a blessed day in Yeshua!

Reflect Yeshua

“When those who knew him from before saw him there, prophesying with the prophets, they asked each other, What’s happened to Kish’s son? Is Sha’ul a prophet too?”
1 Samuel 10:11 CJB

Same goes for us when we are saved by God and are serving Him, do people see a change in us?

“They came to Yeshua and saw the man who had the legion of demons, sitting there, dressed and in his right mind; and they were frightened.”
Mark 5:15 CJB

How amazing when we see someone come to their senses and receive God’s Salvation! Suddenly they are now in their right mind, being a witness for Adonai! It is so amazing to see the changes in a person when they are a new creation in Messiah!

“In the same way, let your light shine before people, so that they may see the good things you do and praise your Father in Heaven.”
Matthew 5:16 CJB

When we are born-again, walking in the ways of God, we should be different, we should be a noticeably changed person! So let’s get out there and reflect the glorious light of Adonai!
