Have compassion

“Moshe went back to Adonai and said, Please! These people have committed a terrible sin: they have made themselves a god out of gold. Now, if you will just forgive their sin! But if you won’t, then, I beg you, blot me out of Your book which You have written!”
Exodus 32:31-32 CJB

Ask yourself, is this your pastor, priest or rabbi’s heart for you and the other believers? Is he interceding for you, lifting you up in prayer? Here we see Moses going to bat for the people, not that Moses didn’t have his own faults, but a leader leads and sticks with the people right to the end!

“For I could wish that I myself were accursed from Messiah for my brethren, my countrymen according to the flesh.”
Romans 9:3 CJB

We also see Paul go to bat for his brethren. If the people we choose to follow in ministry try to live above us or use terms like I’m God’s anointed, making themselves holier than you, you should probably not follow them!
God looks at all of us equally and has no favorites! Be careful of people who place themselves above their congregations!

“For Adonai your God is God of gods and Lord of lords. the great, mighty and awesome God, who has no favorites and accepts no bribes.”
Deuteronomy 10:17 CJB

Today, know that we as believers are on a level playing field, so to speak! God looks at all of us equally!
Have a blessed day knowing God loves you!
Shabbat Shalom!

Be watchful

“Adonai asked the Adversary, Where are you coming from? The Adversary answered Adonai, From roaming through the earth, wandering here and there.”
Job 2:2 CJB

We all need to be on guard, because the Adversary (Satan) is always wandering around looking for people to deceive! He may even come in the form of a supposed believer! There are many false preachers out there!

“Beware of false prophets! They come to you wearing sheep’s clothing, but underneath they are hungry wolves!”
Matthew 7:15 CJB

How do you recognize false people? One way is if they are always asking you to give, they may even seem super godly and have a fruitful looking ministry! Ask yourself what kind of fruit is it? If it’s apples coming from an orange tree that should be the first flag!

“You will recognize them by their fruit. Can people pick grapes from a thorn bushes, or figs from thistles?”
Matthew 7:16 CJB

The answer is no! What we need to be doing to protecting ourselves from the Adversary and to be in God’s word continually!
Today, have a blessed day digging into scripture!
Shabbat Shalom!

Be on guard

“It happened one day that the sons of God came to serve Adonai, and among them came the Adversary ( Satan).
Job 1:6 CJB

Every time believers get together, Satan shows up to see who he can stumble!

“Stay sober, stay alert! Your enemy, the Adversary, stalks about like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour.”
1 Peter 5:8 CJB

We always need to be on guard for Satan! Why? Because he is always out to lie and deceive!

“Therefore, submit to God. Moreover, take a stand against the Adversary, and he will flee from you.”
James 4:7 CJB

Today, the more we submit to God and stand with Him, the more we will see Satan flee from us!
Have a blessed day standing with Adonai!

Intercede

“For Mordekhai the Jew was second only to King Achashverosh; he was a great man among the Jews, popular with all his countrymen. He sought the good of his people and interceded for the welfare of all their descendants.”
Esther 10:3 CJB

Do we seek the good of our people and intercede for them? One of the things we get to do as believers is encourage and pray for people!

“Therefore, openly acknowledge your sins to one another, and pray for each other, so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective.”
James 5:16 CJB

We really need to be lifting each other up in prayer! When we say positive and encouraging words to each other it helps people to grow and the world around us is watching and listening!

“Therefore, encourage each other, and build each other up-just as you are doing.”
1 Thessalonians 5:11 CJB

Today let’s spend more time doing good for others and interceding on their behalf than complaining!
Have a blessed day praying!

Victory in Yeshua

“Mordekhai recorded these events and sent letters to all the jews in all the provinces of King Achashverosh, both near and far, instructing them to observe the fourteenth day of the month of Adar and the fifteenth day, every year.”
Esther 9:20-21 CJB

We should always remember the victories that Adonai has done in our lives! Remembering victories that Adonai has done in our past encourages us in the battles in our present and future!

“Now I know that Adonai gives victory to His anointed one-He will answer him from His holy heaven with mighty victories by His right hand.”
Psalm 20:6 CJB

We are called God’s anointed ones and He does give us victory in Him! We just need to trust Him in everything!

“Some trust in chariots and some in horses, but we will praise the name of Adonai our God.”
Psalm 20:7 CJB

Today, remember the victories we had in Adonai and know He will continue to give us victories in the present and the future!
Have a victorious day in Yeshua!
