Listen to the LORD

“Adonai spoke to Moshe on Mount Sinai; He said.”
Leviticus 25:1 CJB

God is always speaking to us from His Holy Mountain in heaven and He is always telling us to observe and keep His statutes!

“Exalt Adonai our God, bow down toward His holy mountain, for Adonai our God is holy!”
Psalm 99:9 CJB

We need to bow down and listen to what God is saying and realize He isn’t saying get rich, be a political activist or judge others! What He is saying is listen to His statutes and do them!

“Don’t deceive yourselves by only hearing what the Word says, but do it!”
James 1:22 CJB

Today, let us look to God, hear what He says and then do it!
Have a blessed day!
Shabbat Shalom!

Shine

“Fools say in their hearts, There is no God. They deal corruptly, their deeds are vile, not one does what is right.”
Psalm 14:1 CJB

This is the world we live in now! Corrupt, vile and wicked denying God at every chance! What do we do? We shine for Adonai!

“In the same way, let your light shine before people, so that they may see the good things you do and praise your Father in heaven.”
Matthew 5:16 CJB

We need to be people who are tasty and shiny for Adonai! Don’t blend in but stand out for Yeshua!

“Proclaim with me the greatness of Adonai; let us exalt His name together.”
Psalm 34:3 CJB

Today, things may look gloomy, but we have the Light of the world in our hearts! So let’s shine!
Have a blessed day shining!
Shabbat Shalom!

Look to Adonai

“I will sing to Adonai, because He gives me even more than I need.”
Psalm 13:6 CJB

The beginning of this Psalm is a bit bleak sounding, David feels that the world is out to get him and Adonai is ignoring Him! But this verse says the opposite. God not only hears us, He gives us more than we can even imagine!

“Then you will delight yourself in Adonai, and He will give you your heart’s desire. Commit your way to Adonai; trust Him, and He will act.”
Psalm 37:4-5 CJB

The desires we get from Adonai come when we commit our lives to Him and then we see that our desires are really His! What He has for us will always be better than what we could ever imagine!

“If you remain united with Me, and My words with you, then ask whatever you want, and it will happen for you.”
John 15:7 CJB

Again we see that God will fulfill our desires, wants and needs when we are totally committed to Him! Understand when we are committed to Him and walk in His ways we find that the things we want are really the things of God!
Have an amazingly blessed day in Adonai!

Victory in Yeshua

“You, Adonai, protect us; guard us forever from this generation-the wicked strut about everywhere when vileness is held in general esteem.”
Psalm 12:7-8 CJB

We are living in this in this day now! Where the wicked are everywhere and vileness is celebrated and promoted!

“Woe to those who call evil good and good evil, who change darkness into light and light into darkness, who change bitter into sweet and sweet into bitter!”
Isaiah 5:20 CJB

It is so amazing how everything predicted in scripture always comes to pass! This should encourage us that when we see all evil predictions coming to pass. Why? Because that also means all the amazing good promises of God will also come to pass!

“Don’t be afraid, for I am with you; don’t be distressed, for I am your God. I give you strength, I give you help, I support you with My victorious right hand.”
Isaiah 41:10 CJB

Today, as evil as the world around us is getting worse, Adonai is always going to protect us, strengthen us and help us through! So have a blessed day being in His victorious hands!

God tests

“Adonai tests the righteous; but He hates the wicked and the lover of violence.”
Psalm 11:5 CJB

God tests us not because He is mad at us or wants to punish us, but because He loves us! Testing is a great way for us to learn and grow in Him. In fact, that’s how we grow in Adonai!

“dear friends, don’t regard as strange the fiery ordeal occurring among you to test you, as if something extraordinary were happening to you.”
1 Peter 4:12 CJB

So testing is part of our walk with Adonai! Now understand as far as wickedness and violence go, basically sinning. We need to be real careful of saying things like God hates the sin, but loves the sinner! Understand that isn’t exactly true. God loves the repentant sinner, but the unrepentant sinner, according to this verse, and many others, God hates!

“He will rain hot coals down on the wicked, fire, sulfur and scorching wind will be what they get to drink.”
Psalm 11:6 CJB

Today, let’s be believers who share the Good News of Salvation with wicked people in the hope that they repent!
Have a blessed day sharing about Yeshua!
