Mind your tongue

“I said, I will watch how I behave, so that I won’t sin with my tongue; I will put a muzzle on my mouth whenever the wicked confront me.”
Psalm 39:1 CJB

This is something we all need to be mindful of, watching our mouths when confronted by people! No matter how much we want to speak out or talk back, we really need to hold our tongue!

“My heart grew hot within me; whenever I thought of it, the fire burned. Then, [at last,] I let my tongue speak.”
Psalm 39:3 CJB

This is what happens when we let things fester inside us, when we allow it to burn in our hearts then it will eventually come out!

“Out of the same mouth come blessings and cursing! Brothers, it isn’t right for things to be this way.”
James 3:10 CJB

Today, let’s be careful of what we allow to burn inside us! We all really need to let things go!
Have a blessed day being careful of what we say!

God guides

“If Adonai is pleased with us, then He will bring us into this land and give it to us-a land flowing with milk and honey.”
Numbers 14:8 CJB

Adonai is always going to be pleased with us when we simply just do what He asks of us without complaint or doubt! Remember there is a difference between He loves us and is pleased with us! God always loves us!

“Every good act of giving and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father who made the heavenly lights; with Him there is neither variation nor darkness caused by turning.”
James 1:17 CJB

God only gives us good things and godly perfect directions, what we need to do is just trust no matter how weird it may seem!

“For we live by trust, not by what we see.”
2 Corinthians 5:7 CJB

Today, we need to really put all our hope and trust in Adonai! He will always guide and direct us in His righteous ways!
Have a blessed day pleasing our God!
Shabbat Shalom!

God is all we need!

“For it is in You, Adonai, that I hope. You will answer, Adonai my God.”
Psalm 38:15 CJB

Where do you place your hope? Is it worldly stuff or is it in Adonai, who will answer you?

“Now, Adonai, what am I waiting for? You are my only hope.”
Psalm 39:7 CJB

No movie character, elected official or institution can give us real hope and peace! Real hope comes from God because He alone can fulfill the things that we really need! So what are you waiting for to call on Adonai?

“Moreover, my God will fill every need of yours according to His glorious wealth, in union with Messiah Yeshua.”
Philippians 4:19 CJB

Realize it doesn’t say wants or our luxuries, but it says needs! When we put all our hope in Adonai, He really will supply all that we need!
Today, don’t wait, just put all your hope in Adonai!
Have a blessed day!
Shabbat Shalom!

Be patient

“Be still before Adonai; wait patiently till He comes. Don’t be upset by those whose way succeeds because of their wicked plans.”
Psalm 37:7 CJB

We can and do get upset when we see wicked people prosper and get away with wrong doing! We also can get upset when we see a double standard of judgment, different rules for different groups of people! Don’t get upset, just be still before Adonai!

“Stop being angry, put aside rage, and don’t be upset-it leads to evil.”
Psalm 37:8 CJB

In other words, stop being angry! It always leads to being judgmental, critical and leads you to sin!

“For evildoers will be cut off, but those hoping in Adonai will inherit the land.”
Psalm 37:9 CJB

Today, we all need to work on being patient and just watch and see what Adonai will do! Remember, He is doing great things, we just need to be patient!
Have a blessed day in Yeshuah!

God is light

“For with You is the fountain of life; in Your light we see light.”
Psalm 36:9 CJB

It is really in Adonai that we can see life and light, if we look at our jobs, health and finances we can see a lot of death and darkness, but in Adonai is life and light!

“Adonai is my light and salvation; whom do I need to fear? Adonai is the stronghold of my life; of whom should I be afraid?”
Psalm 27:1 CJB

The answer to both questions is that we are to fear or be afraid of no one! “We are blood brought and bullet proof!” We belong to God!

“Even if I pass through death-and dark ravines, I will fear no disaster; for You are with me; Your rod and staff reassure me.”
Psalm 23:4 CJB

Today, realize we all have struggles in life, but with Adonai we can easily get through them! So look to God, not your situation, and watch and see He will get you through!
May your day be richly blessed!
