God is always there

“Don’t let the floodwaters overwhelm me, don’t let the deep swallow me up, don’t let the pit close its mouth over me. Answer me, Adonai, for Your grace is good; in Your great mercy, turn to me.”
Psalm 69:15-16 CJB

We all, at times, can feel like the world is crashing down around us, overwhelmed by the floodwaters of life, asking where are You, Adonai! The good news: He is right there with us!

“Adonai is near those with broken hearts; He saves those whose spirit is crushed.”
Psalm 34:18 CJB

The more the storms of life rage, it is the perfect time to draw closer to God, knowing He is always right beside us!

“Adonai your God is right there with you, as a mighty Savior. He will rejoice over you and be glad, He will be silent in His love, He will shout over you with joy.”
Zephaniah 3:17 CJB

Today, whether in good times or bad times, know that Adonai is always right there with you!
Have a blessed day!

God saves

“Our God is a God who saves; from Adonai Adonai comes escape from death.”
Psalm 68:20 CJB 21 other translations

So thankful that God saves, we all know who and what we are and how much we need saving! We all can be greedy, covetous and self—centered! But when we repent, God saves!

“Guide me in Your truth, and teach me; for you are the God who saves me, my hope is in you all day long.”
Psalm 25:5 CJB

We need to pray along these lines: guide me and teach me! Why? Because God gives us hope in Salvation through Yeshua!

“So you, return to your God; hold fast to grace and justice; and always put your hope in your God.”
Hosea 12:7 CJB

Today, if you have distanced yourself from God, return to Him, knowing He is the only one who can save you!
Have a blessed day in Him!

God gives all!

“May God continue to bless us, so that all the ends of the earth will fear Him.”
Psalm 67:7 CJB

One of the main goals for us as believers is to glorify God, to let the people around us see how good He is! The idea here of blessing us isn’t necessarily with riches, possessions or status! It’s that people may see the goodness of God in us!

“If someone acknowledges that Yeshua is the son of God, God remains united with Him, and he with God.”
1 John 4:15 CJB

A good question to ask ourselves is, do people see God in me? Hopefully, the answer is yes! We also need to ask ourselves what runs our lives? Is it God or stuff?

“It’s easier for a camel to pass through a needle’s eye than for a rich man to enter the Kingdom of God.”
Mark 10:25 CJB

Understand, we can’t do anything without God and getting to Heaven is impossible without Him! This should motivate us to glorify Him for what He has freely given! Salvation!

“I will thank You, Adonai my God, with my whole heart; and I will glorify Your name forever.”
Psalm 86:12 CJB

Today, let’s glorify God in everything we do so the world around us can see His greatness!
Have a blessed day in Him!

Be zealous for Adonai

“For You, God have tested us, refined us as silver is refined.”
Psalm 66:10 CJB

God does allow tests to happen to us, that is one of the ways He refines us! We get to make choices and decisions! Do we make the right ones? Like the children of Israel, they had a choice to make in Numbers 25, to sin or not to sin. They made the wrong choice, but Phinehas did the right thing, which refined the children of Israel!

“Pinchas the son of El`azar, the son of Aharon the Cohen, has deflected My anger from the people of Israel by being as zealous as I am, so that I didn’t destroy them in My own zeal.”
Numbers 25:11 CJB

Here we see that the anger of God is quenched by a right decision! This is one of the ways God refines us by going through the test or trial, but we must always choose Adonai!

“Then Pinchas stood up and executed judgment; so the plague was checked.”
Psalm 106:30 CJB

Today, we all need to be making right decisions in trials and watch how God uses our decisions to help refine us!
Have a blessed day!
Shabbat Shalom!

God chose you

“How blessed are those you choose and bring near, so that they can remain in your courtyards! We will be satisfied with the goodness of your house, the Holy Place of your temple.”
Psalm 65:4 CJB

This is amazing that God chose us to be with Him! It also should comfort us to know that He desires us to be with Him for all eternity!

“Don’t let yourselves be disturbed. Trust in God and trust in Me.”
John 14:1 CJB

Understand as hard as the world around us gets, the best thing we can do is trust in God!

“In My Father’s house are many places to live. If there weren’t, I would have told you; because I am going there to prepare a place for you. Since I am going and preparing a place for you, I will return to take you with Me; so that where I am, you may be also.”
John 14:2-3 CJB

Today, let’s rejoice in the fact that God has chosen us to be with Him!
Have a blessed day!
Shabbat Shalom!
