This same warning goes out to us! We must do what Adonai tells us to do through His word, don’t add or subtract from it! Just do it! Remember, we represent God here on earth!

“Don’t deceive yourselves by only hearing what the Word says, but do it!”
James 1:22 CJB

There are so many believers who hear the Word of God, but either don’t do it or believe it’s for them, making statements that it’s not for me or we don’t need to heed that anymore! Be very careful of statements like this!

“All Scripture is God-breathed and is valuable for teaching the truth, convicting of sin, correcting faults and training in right living; thus anyone who belongs to God may be fully equipped for every good work.”
2 Timothy 3:16-17 CJB

Everything in the word of God is true, and is necessary for us to hear, obey and then do!

God gives us the same directions today, He gives us a way of life through Him and a way of death by doing our own thing!

“For Your grace is there before my eyes, and I live my life by your truth.”
Psalm 26:3 CJB

Do we live our lives according to the truths of God found in His word?

“Yeshua said, I AM the Way-and the Truth and the life; no one comes to the Father except through Me.”
John 14:6 CJB

We all have a choice in life to live by God and His truths or the world and its lies!

Even though Jeremiah is going through some rough times and really even hates being born, he still praises Adonai! When we go through troubled times, we also need to find time to praise Adonai! Why? Because He is our only hope!

“For thus says the High, Exalted One who lives forever, whose name is Holy: I live in the high and holy place, but also with the broken and humble, in order to revive the spirit of the humble and revive the hearts of the broken ones.”
Isaiah 57:15 CJB

Even when we are going through trying times of life with health problems, financial problems and even persecution, God is always near!

“Then my tongue will tell of Your righteousness and praise You all day long.”
Psalm 35:28 CJB

No matter what may be going on in our lives, good or bad, when we praise Adonai, speaking of His righteousness and place all our hope in Him. Our day will always be exceedingly better!
May your day be be richly blessed in Adonai!

“Say: ‘Hear the Word of Adonai, kings of Y’hudah and inhabitants of Yerushalayim! This is what Adonai-Tzva’ot, the God of Israel, says: I am about to bring disaster on this place that will make ears of whoever hears about it ring.”

This warning really goes to us also! We can’t live like heathens and be part of evil worldly practices and expect God to turn a blind eye! Disaster for the unrepentant world is coming!

“Adonai looks out from Heaven; He sees every human being.”
Psalm 33:13 CJB

God knows all and sees all, nothing gets by Him!

“Don’t delude yourselves: no one makes a fool of God! A person reaps what He sows.”
Galatians 6:7 CJB

So if we are doing bad things or good things, we will reap either one! The beautiful thing, even when we blow it, we can call on God and He forgives! But when we deny God, we get what we deserve!

“When I acknowledge my sin to You, when I stopped concealing my guilt, and said, I will confess my offenses to Adonai; then You, You forgave the guilt of my sin.”
Psalm 32:5 CJB

Today, realize we can’t get away with anything, but because God is gracious that when we repent, He forgives!

“No, but my people have forgotten Me and offer incense to nothings. This cause them to stumble as they walk the ancient paths; they leave the highway to walk on side-trails.”

Do we forget God? Do we try to walk on our own paths instead of the tried and true and paths of Adonai! Life is and can be difficult, but the tried and true paths of Adonai will always get us through!

“Here is what Adonai says: Stand at the crossroads and look; ask about the ancient paths, ‘Which one is the good way?’ Take it, and you will find rest for your souls. But they said, ‘We will not take it.'”
Jeremiah 6:16 CJB

Here is the deal: when we are on the crossroads of life, wondering what to do, don’t look for some new way, but look to the old ways of God that are proven and true!

“As high as the sky is above the earth are My ways higher than your ways, and My thoughts than your thoughts.”
Isaiah 55:9 CJB

The ways of man will always fail and let you down, but the ways of God will never fail, so let’s walk in them!
