“People will stagger from sea to sea and from north to east, running back and forth, seeking the word of Adonai; but they will not find it.”

The reason the people won’t find God or His word is because they’ve rejected it already! We see it everywhere: hard hearts, distracted people and shallowness! This is the world today, completely rejecting God, then when they actually realize how much they need Him, it might be too late!

“Next, they rejected the beautiful land, they didn’t trust His promise.”
Psalm 106:24 CJB

People complain about all the good things that Adonai has given as if it isn’t enough! The thing is, if God only gave us salvation and nothing else, it should be enough that we don’t have to spend eternity in Hell! So don’t reject God, look to Him for everything!

“Adonai is good to those waiting for Him, to those who are seeking Him out.”
Lamentations 3:25 CJB

Even though God can seem harsh and His ways not what we think they should be, but when we wait on Him, understand His mercy and grace is far greater than anything we could ever imagine!
Be patient and wait upon Adonai today!

“While they were finishing up eating all the vegetation in the land, I said, Adonai Elohim-please! How will tiny Ya`akov(Jacob) survive? So Adonai changed His mind about this. It won’t happen, Adonai said.”
Amos 7:2-3 CJB

Did God change His mind because He was wrong or because of prayer? The answer is quite clearly prayer! Prayer really does change everything, but it has to be sincere prayer! Not I’m praying because I got caught or a half hearted bless my mess prayers!

“When Iyov (Job) prayed for his friends, Adonai restored his fortunes; Adonai gave Iyov twice as much as he had before.”
Job 42:10 CJB

The idea here is to pray for not just yourself, but pray for others! It’s kind of easy tp pray for your own situations, but praying for others can at times be difficult! Why? Because we all can be judgmental or want to interact and counsel instead of just praying!

“But I tell you, love your enemies! Pray for those who persecute you!”
Matthew 5:44 CJB

The idea of persecute you could also be written irritate you! Today, instead of getting irritated and angry, try sincerely praying for blessings on those who may come against you! Then watch and see what God will do in your life!

This is the truest of true things we see today! People including so-called believers do this today, only caring about themselves and making sure that they have the best and most of everything! They take special trips, they stay in special places and do expensive things, but care less about the ruin of many!

“The oppressor of the poor insults his Maker, but he who is kind to the needy honors Him.”
Proverbs 14:31 CJB

Adonai desires us to reflect His light, being kind and not self-centered and greedy! Being kind is reflecting His light!

“In the same way, let your light shine before people, so that they may see the good things you do and praise your Father in Heaven.”
Matthew 5:16 CJB

This verse doesn’t say do good things so your name can shine on a billboard, it says let your good works shine so Adonai can be glorified! Today, do things that reflect the light of Adonai!
