Seek Adonai for all your needs!

“The godly have been destroyed from the land, there is no one upright among humankind. They all lie in wait for blood, each hunts his brother with a net. Their hands do evil well. The prince makes his request, the judge grants it for a price, and the great man expresses his evil desires-thus they weave it together.”
Micah 7:2-3 CJB

What we see here is what was going on in Micah’s day roughly 2700 years ago, sadly it is no different today! Godly people are removed from public square (social media, schools and government institutions)! Evil people do evil things really well! Corruption in almost every facet of life! What are we to do?

“Some trust in chariots and some in horses, but we praise the name of Adonai our God.”
Psalm 20:7 CJB

What do you put your trust and hope in? Is it God who will answer? Or the world that will let you down?

“Don’t trust in your neighbor; don’t put confidence in a close friend; shut the gates of your mouth even from [your wife], lying there with you in bed.”
Micah 7:5 CJB

What Micah is saying here is don’t make these people your go to! Make God the first stop for all questions and concerns!

“But as for me, I will look to Adonai, I will wait for the God of my salvation; my God will hear me.”
Micah 7:7 CJB

Like Micah let’s look to Adonai for all our needs and concerns not the world and its evil trappings!
Have a blessed day seeking God!

God ways aren’t burdensome!

“I brought you up from the land of Egypt. I redeemed you from life of slavery. I sent Moshe, Aharon and Miriam to lead you.”
Micah 6:4 CJB

This is what God has done for us: He saved us from a life of slavery and redeemed us from an eternity in Hell! What does He desire in return? Obedience, serving Him which isn’t difficult or complicated!

“For loving God means obeying His commands. Moreover, His commands are not burdensome.”
1 John 5:3 CJB

God’s commands should never be looked at as a burden, His perfect guidelines on how we are to live life His way!

“Your Word is a lamp for my foot and light on my path.”
Psalm 119:105 CJB

Today, don’t let anyone tell you that walking in the ways of God’s perfect word is to difficult or burdensome! Because as Yeshua has said , we can find rest in His ways!

“Take My yoke upon you and LEARN from Me, beacause I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy, and My burden is light.”
Matthew 11:29-30 CJB

Have a blessed day following after Adonai!

God saves!

“Your hand will be raised over Your enemies; all your adversaries will be destroyed.”
Micah 5:8 CJB

This is another promise of God, who says He will deliver us from our enemies, which are also His!

“I call on Adonai, who is worthy of praise; and I am saved from my enemies.”
Psalm 18:4 CJB

We should know that God will deal with our enemies as Micah says! The question is who do we call when we are in trouble? Is it God or what we think we know? Understand God will deal with our enemies as He has already done. We just need to trust!

“Guide me in Your truth, and teach me; for you are the God who saves me, my hope is in You all day long.”
Psalm 25:5 CJB

This verse should be our prayer every day! Guide me, teach me and may my hope be in You! If you have questions, know that God has all the answers and they all can be found in His Word, we just need to be in it!
Have a blessed day!
Shabbat Shalom!

Serve Adonai

“For all the peoples will walk, each in the name of its god; but we will walk in the name of Adonai our God forever and ever.”
Micah 4:5 CJB

We see this all around us, people walking in the name of their own god! Transgenderism, politics, entertainment and personal wealth to name a few! What we need to do is not focus on any of that, but focus on our God the creator of the Universe!

“If it seems bad to you to serve Adonai, then choose today whom you are going to serve! Will it be the gods your ancestors served beyond the River? or the gods of Emori, in whose land you are living? As for me and my household, we will serve Adonai!”
Joshua 24:15 CJB

A great question for us also, who are we going to serve, the gods of this world or Adonai, who created the world?

“Serve Adonai with gladness. Enter His presence with joyful songs.”
Psalm 100:2 CJB

One of the best ways to serve Adonai is by being in His Word and then simply just doing what it says!
Have a blessed day!
Shabbat Shalom!
